Motel 6 Dania Beach

We’ve stayed at other Motel 6 locations and this was, by far, the worse. We reserved a room with a fridge and microwave, but during check-in we were told they didn’t have one available for us. We made a reservation for 2 adults, 2 children, & 3 pets. The hotel is old and falling apart. The room we were given was so small, with barely any room between either bed, nor between the AC and one bed, or the other bed and the wall. No nightstand between beds. The sink pipes leaked water underneath and we had to use ice bucket to collect it. The towels were covered in dust so we used the pool towels we had brought with us. Let’s talk about the filthy pool. Anyone that goes in will probably develop infections; it was green and grotesque. The other “guests” appeared to be living in their rooms permanently. Worst place ever. Avoid at all costs.

Pool was closed, water was leaking from ceiling every time someone took a shower from upstairs rooms. Towels were used to contain the water leaking from the ceiling. Informed management about the water problem, showed the videos and pictures.

The rooms did not look anything like the pics on line.. very very dirty property.. no shower curtain up in the bathroom so couldn't take a shower.. no bedspreads.. floor was dirty... Curtains falling down... Ducks walking all over the place and pooping... Very noisy rooms.. refrigerator was in the middle of the walking area.. was supposed to be a non-smoking room the room smelled disgusting.. very dark parking lot running alongside woods..do not stay at this property

The whole experience was not encouraging. Guest were not properly attended to and they seem short staff even to change bedsheets after four night. They offered to give me extra bedsheets to fix by myself. Very rude and nonchalant. Other guests will definitely have something to say!

The location is good, the premises are not well kept, the environment outside the rooms left unclean, no strict control of smoking areas, customers just smoke anyhow hazarding the lives of non smokers, the staff is fairly pleasant, the laundry area was the worst I have ever seen and it tarnishes your reputation, I lost my money without receiving the laundry service, you need a lot of work to keep your place up to a desirable standard You could have the outside environment clean, outside the rooms, have strict controls on smoking

People with ankle monitors selling things out of the trunk. A group of people performing a 5 hour car repair. A homeless person's trash bags and belongings stored next to the staircase. Said homeless person feeding a flock of ducks in the parking lot where a man and woman were smoking crack from a crack pipe!!! The BSO showed with 6-8 sheriffs around 11:30pm when a domestic dispute turned into a brawl between a group of people. Meanwhile the door lock to my room did not lock and was only held shut by the dead bolt and a chair that I leaned against it. The room itself was disgustingly dirty. There was a syringe, a SYRINGE behind the toilet. If you enjoy penitentiary vibes minus the free prison food then this is your spot. I TOOK PHOTOS. Don't walk, RUN FROM THIS PLACE.

I'd guess you get what to pay for we had to wait a couple hours for clean blankets. The pool was not open. There were ducks all over the property. Following us around. It works close to the airport though

Nothing Property was dirty, clothes were hanging over poles drying, no one was at the front desk when we went to go check in. Waited for about 30 minutes no one ever showed up. Waited outside for about another 10 minutes still no one came to the front desk. Some guy pulled a gun on someone in front of the building. We got an uber and left to a different hotel. Would never recommend.

First off, the staff are amazing, this is not about them. The issue with this place is that it smells of mildew, some rooms worse than others, but you get an early preview of this in the lobby. The rooms are not cleaned very well, shower has hair in it and appears to have been used to wash a dog/animal that had clawed the bottom of the tub. The animal also appears to have attempted to tear its way through the bottom of the bathroom door since a large chunk of the bottom of the door is missing. Don't expect all rooms to be the same, one had a phone while another did not. One had a large nice TV and the other had a small TV with the backlight bleeding through. No fridge, one communal microwave in the lobby. Pool has ducks swimming in it and is not maintained frequently, debris floating around as well as dead bugs. For the amount paid per night here, it is not worth the price. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra $40-$50 and get a decent hotel.
