El Rancho Motel

It was not like any ordinary motel. Intimate, clean, and tranquil spot. Rooms were also clean (thanks so much Samuel), albeit it small but we worked with it and didn't need to request anything extra. Staff such as Kathy and Samuel were so great and helpful. We have decided to now make this motel one of our favorite places to stay at, and our goal moving forward is to make this destination a mandatory annual stay. My family, friends and I loved it. And the outdoor patios... Boy did we love that too! Can't wait until the next time. Thank you to the wonderful staff here at El Rancho Motel in the beautiful city of Coronado, CA.

Nice, clean and very peaceful place to stay

Room was clean and what we needed. First day put out the do not disturb sign as we did not need our bed changed or room cleaned. Second day took the sign back in and didn’t get any visit from the cleaning people clean things were provided at the office so that was not a problem. Last night was very tired from all the adventures and it was supposed to be quiet time after nine and there was a party on the front porch, which was right in front of our room. After 10 it was less noisy, but the party was still going on with drinking and food finally got to sleep and then an hour later at 11 PM. They were still there talking. Maybe it would’ve helped to have a room not by the outdoor area, but there was no one to call to see if they could move the party along somewhere else.

Enjoyed our brief stay

The ac unit was very loud when trying to sleep, the bathrooms could’ve been a lot cleaner I had to clean them myself. I would say 5/10 rating overall. Location was probably the best thing.

Wonderful staff and service

Everything was perfect! We absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were amazing. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent option for staying on the beautiful Coronado Island.

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean only problem we had was we couldn’t get the TV to work. They were helpful with suggestions, but we never were able to figure it out. Overall a very nice place to stay

Room was dirty upon arrival. The floors and the shower were noticeably not cleaned. Cheapest place to stay in Coronado

Parking

Really great boutique motel. Check in details were tricky because “we used Expedia” (we didn’t) that seems like something they should figure out considering how many people book with third party booking sites. Also both AC united had absolutely filthy filters and flashing filter lights on. I cleaned them both but only one AC unit actually worked. It never ceases to amaze how hotels can’t keep up with AC maintenance. Also, “free self parking” was a joke, only 6 parking spots for like 12 or so rooms. We never once saw an open parking spots. Besides those details the room was perfect and the location was amazing.

There is parking available and the staff was helpful with check in and check out. The facility is basic but clean and well maintained and is a good value for the money in this area.

This is my second time booking a room al El Rancho M . Is very close to restaurants and the beach area, I would recommend it to anyone.

Everything was good very beautiful I would totally go back just AC would work it was hot in the room at night. AC would turn on and off throughout the day.

Clean room, hot shower, cold a/c, nice staff, quiet and great location.

Was easy check on, appreciated the glass coffee cup!
