I loved my stay at Ami's. The host is so nice and helpful. It's the house he was born in and not modern, but full of charm and character. I stayed in the room closest to the bathroom and it was no big deal that other gals had to pass through to get to it. It's much better than a normal hostel and it's walking distance to everything!

I love it.

Location was wonderful and everyone I interacted with was also wonderful

Great place to spend one night, when you arrive late! Feels like home

The location is great, super close to everything. There is bus closeby that takes you to the airport. It is also a nice idea that is a female dormer where you can meet people and “theoretically” feel safe if you travel alone. Check-in was easy. Terrible experience – not worth the money. The room was dirty (stained towel, used pillowcase) and offered no privacy. To reach the bathroom, guests had to walk through my room constantly, even at night, so I couldn’t close the door. I do not mind sleeping with other people in the room, but this felt like a hallway. The bathroom itself was rusty and filthy—I didn’t even want to shower. Shockingly, the owner entered my room during late evening without knocking and asked me if I need the light, and turned it off. I’ve stayed in many hostels/ dorms before, but this was by far the worst. Not worth the €40 at all. And I am shocked it has such a good review.

Location only The hostel was really dirty, especially kitchen and bathroom. The whole building needs refurb

The owner of the property was very nice and helpful! We asked him every question we had about where to go and what bus to take. The location of the property was also pretty exceptional as it was close to the green bus stop (to go across the island) and the blue one for closer trips as well as being in the heart of the old town. It was two young girls traveling together and we always felt incredibly safe and comfortable! There was no AC which was challenging mid summer but fans were provided for each bed which made it more than doable.

The best place you can stay in Corfu as a women! The place is really comfortable, the rooms are spacious and the beds are big. It has all the facilities you need and even hairdryers, makeup mirrors etc. Ami, the owner, is very kind and offers assistance with anything! He truly cares about the quality of the place and makes sure each guest feels at home. n/a

If you are expecting luxury for this price you're insane.

I liked the atmosphere, so that is most important

Close to the city For the love of God, please please clean! I did not dare use the bathroom (the bath mat was soaked with liquid) Everything was dusty Garden was so messy The kitchen smelled bad and the fridge looked DISGUSTING Also the housekeeper was nice enough but he is male and it creeped me out to see him when this is supposed to be an only-women hostel. Was cheap, not worth it.

The flexible checkout, Amir let me come and go on last day until I went to Port. This was helpful as the weather wasn't thr nest which meant I could sit indoors until sun came out again! This was much appreciated. Nothing

You get to live how people lived here 100+ years ago. Loved the fascinating antique furniture & clutter, and the flowery old wallpaper. Elderly host Ami is a unique gentleman, in his childood home. Very hard to find at night by taxi, after the late flight in from Athens. It's a very old house, almost no signage, unknown to taxi drivers or those on the street.

+ Good location + My room, completely upstairs, was private and could be locked (the only private one) - The host, an old guy, lives in the house, which I found uncomfortable, since the accommodation specifically is for women only. - To reach the bathroom you have to go through other rooms and walk past many open beds (no privacy) - Cluttered, old house, not very clean

Great place, very convenient. Ami was really lovely and helpful

Very very dirty place! No kettle in kitchen. No shower. It seems like there newer been cleaner! Booking.com need to inspect this place immediately

the price and location were great. I do not think I was given the same accommodation that I signed up for on Booking.com. I registered for a single room (one bed only in the room) but I was assigned a double. I’d written of my late arrival time but the proprietor seemed surprised that I arrived at all. I think I was lucky to get the bed I did. it was actually more comfortable than the single and I didn’t have people walking through my room to get to theirs as many other guests did. I would consider staying again for 1-3 nights.

The location is brilliant. Walking distance from all that's on offer in Corfu Town. Only a few minutes walk from the main bus station. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There was a little clutter. It's a great house and would be wonderful with a little tidying and updating. That said, I would still stay again as my bed was really comfy.
