Hampton Inn Iowa City/Coralville

This hotel was clean & comfortable. It's was perfect for our weekend get away.

The stay would've been fine if the beds were comfortable. My daughter (18) and I (58) tossed and turned all night and we'd had a long road trip prior to our stay and an early morning start scheduled for the next day. Don't stay here if you want to sleep.

Loved the property and location. Good breakfast. Great staff. Only problem was the bathroom door was a barn style that kept coming off the track- it was so heavy I was afraid it was going to fall on my kids- so when it fell all the way off the track we just left it off and didn’t have a door on the bathroom.

The breakfast was pretty good and restocked all the time. The ladies in the breakfast area were very good. The room had peeled pressed board on the credenza. It had the shortest toilet which was hard to use. The toilet had black permanent scratch marks on the bottom. The king room and the bathroom were just a little bigger than a cruise ship room. It was below Hampton standards.

Quick stay but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful!

Typical room - clean and quiet stay. Typical continental breakfast. Parking suited us well as we were traveling with a UHaul van.

All the linens were very clean. Everything from pillows and sheets to towels were fresh. We did not like the bathroom door. It opened up to the bathroom with a sliding door that was really noisy. During the night whenever someone needed to use the toilet, it woke up the rest of the family which was very annoying.

Beautiful room.The accomodations were excellent except for the very low toilet seat and the very heavy blankets on the beds. You have to choose between sheet only and the haeavy blanket.

The halls smelled musty and old. A back door was unlocked which felt unsafe.

outstanding breakfast. The woman who was uncharge of the breakfast room was excellent. The room and facilities were so clean and she kept all the food stocked and the containers clean.

Very clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was good. Location was great. The kids loved the pool! The elevator function was a little sketchy… it often skipped a floor on the first pass; we would have to ride all the way up to go down, or vis-versa. Otherwise, everything was great!
