DoubleTree by Hilton Columbus

While the exterior property was decent, surrounding area was a little dilapidated and sketchy. Front door staff was friendly and welcoming, however when we left we were not asked about our stay, which brings me to the crux of our stay. The entire floor, bathroom included was sticky and felt unsanitary. Sheets and pillow cases were not properly cleaned, several roaches were seen in the room were we stayed. The room environment left us unsettled, and we left after the first night.

We had to switch rooms several times. My sister in law had to switch her room as well. No ac in the hallways and was dirty. Pool was closed and dirty upon our arrival, ac in room didn't work and was very loud.

Staff very polite and helpful

AC unit was LOUD!! But it did keep the room cool. Water stains on the ceiling in the bathroom. I chose this hotel based on location but disappointed there was no complimentary breakfast.

close to base stayed 3 nights, never emptied trash, never made up bed, wet towel laid on bathroom floor 3 days. housekeeping lounge door left open 1st floor, food all over it, wreaked of onions, half the time some sitting around on their phones. got granddaughter & husband another room & had black mold bathroom & on bed. they would only refund her 1 of 3 nights, I got none. left there to Holiday Inn Express, much nicer, cleaner, and furnished a breakfast for cheaper rate. Have to go back down in month, will be back at HIE for sure. certainly not Doubletree. VERY DISAPPOINTED as a club member.

convenience of locations to restaurants and gas stations At my arrival to room, it was not secured, door was ajar, did not think much of it, dropped bags a went out again, learned at return toilet was used and not flushed and trash was present in room.

I had a place to sleep, hardwood throughout the hotel, no carpet. Staff at front desk were friendly and wanted to help the best they could. The lack of response with maintenance issues was concerning, crumbs on floor, damp sheets due to condensation from AC unit, toilet never flush properly even though I put in a work order. TV when I arrived never worked until I fixed it myself even after requesting work order. Hallways and gym was hot and humid and smelled bad

Very friendly staff. Lots of parking. Room was clean. Good location- close to Ft Benning.

Second, when we got in, the tub in the bathroom was nasty with soap grime and mildew, the bathtub curtain had mold . I took pics and video and we called the front desk it was midnight so we requested someone to come and clean the bathroom and change the curtain at noon on the next day. They came in at 9am knocking loudly on the door to come and change the curtain. We said we needed the bathroom clean. We left and we came back, the bathroom was "cleaned" but they only changed the curtain. We called again and they came and the maid said: thay is not mildew (didn't appreciate her tone) and wiped thw bathtub and left. I had to buy clorox mold/mildew and a brush aand I cleaned the bathtub myself. Will never stayed in a Doubletree or a Hilton again.

Conviently located and very clean...

Staff was very friendly. Room was loud between TV next door and doors slamming - no one was being rowdy it was just a loud facility.

Very nice hotel. Staff very welcoming got anything extra we needed like towels and wash cloths. And those complimentary cookies was so delicious. No microwave and the fridge is just that in the room so anything freezer wise will melt and they did have 1 microwave near the front desk. Didn't get to enjoy the bar and restaurant but will keep them in mind next time im in town! Cane all the way from new york but they did not disappoint. They even allowed early check in!

Pretty every one was nice talked to you first pleasant and bed was very comfortable enjoyed our stay Yeah, now that bed it was so comfortable

Exceptional

Overall this was the worst experience i’ve ever had a double tree. I booked a double bed room for two guests and when arrived we did not get our complimentary cookies. Once we arrived to the room and inspected it, the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. There was hair all in the shower, the night stand was not dusted at all and to top it off they only provided one bath towel. When calling the next day for more (around 11) and advising of the missing towels. We were told someone would come up and bring us more. After 15 minutes someone did come up emptied handed and asking us again what was already advised what was needed. Then we were told that they will bring us hand towels, faces towel however the bath towels would be 30 minute wait. Well 30 minutes turned to me calling back to the actual hotel phone number at 130( i forgot to mention you couldn’t use any of the preset buttons for hide keeping etc ) and was advised they were low on towels. Whatt? How it’s a hotel!!

It was nice clean and friendly and restaurant there Me and my wife got one bath towel instead of two bath towels in the room and I thought the breakfast was free because we stay there it never said that online and the staff never said nothing

The location and the breakfast buffet and that is it! Refused to honor their veteran discount, bed was uncomfortable and way to soft, no extra bed clothing or pillows for the pull out sofa bed, room was very small.
