Sonesta Select Columbia

We only stayed one night after a concert but it was close to the merriweather post pavilion and had great options for food that was close for the drive home in the morning. Overall it was a great stay. They do charge for an early check in but depending on what you need, it was only $25. They were very helpful and very responsive. Makes you feel welcome and comfortable.

Only stayed 1 night but the room was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. Front desk staff nice at check-in...overnight staff and next morning were not as helpful. The pool was small. It was an overall nice stay.

Very clean and comfortable room. Staff very friendly. No breakfast included, but the Starbucks coffee was delicious there.

we got a room with a king bed and a sofa. We go to the checking and they assigned us a room in the floor 4th. When we access the room the sofa was missing. We called from the room and we ended going back to the front desk for a solution. Finally we got a room in floor 2 with a king bed and a sofa. we acces the room and when we opened the sofa , the mattress was dirty, with food leftovers on it and no sheets to make the bed. The entire room had a funny smell, not super if was previous a smoke room or what is the problem.

Quiet but convenient location, nice room, perfectly clean and comfortable. Would recommend!

Excellent stay

The laundry facilities were also broken when we went to use them. The front desk staff was not very eager to help with anything.

We paid extra for the breakfast and the only option was a muffin

The hotel is in a great location. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We come to Columbia every couple of months to visit out grandkids. This the forth hotel we have tried. This by far in the best location.

The room patio No housekeeping throughout my stay and I stayed several days.

Used Hotel.com to book the hotel. Did not give me the proper pricing agreed upon. Gave my room to another traveler. Put us in handicap rooms. No box spring mattress just a single mattress on plywood. Hotel staff was rude and unhelpful.

When I arrived around midnight, I was told my reservation was canceled due to the credit card on file being expired, something they didn’t mention when I called two days in advance of my stay. The manager eventually told me he could get me a room, but for $700 a night, double what I originally paid for two nights. (No thanks.) I was unable to get another room nearby and wound up driving three hours home and three hours back to return to the event I was attending. My reward for booking early and calling two days in advance to confirm my stay and arrival was a horribly heartless manager who tried to gouge me. I’ll never book with another Sonesta hotel.

The Hotel was clean but they need to do some updates and the sink and toilet was stopped up . They came to fix it when we let them know.

Clean. Hot everywhere, the paid breakfast package is vague online and honestly not worth it, total crap.

Breakfast was pretty bad Staff at the front desk weren’t rude but they certainly weren’t friendly. I arrived 32 minutes prior to check in time and was told that even though my room was ready I would have to pay an additional $25 to check in. That is absurd and offensive
