Vintage look Looks around the property and ordering coffee at the Buffett was slow. Should put coffee near the buffet.

The victorian style furniture across the hotel was very unique Location is so quiet & hidden away from main road & its is in the middle between the old town & the upclass Nimman Area where night life is Breakfast was wayyy to Thai & not that I don't like Thai food. But if there were at least name tags for each dish on the very long line up of dishes I would have tried a bit more than white rice & an omelette Also coffee option was not okay with a jar of instant coffee. This is Chiang Mai & its well known for good coffee

Good value for the amenities included, including a well stocked breakfast buffet. Toothbrushes are not included with the room which is dissapointing for a supposedly 4-star hotel. Location is not very convenient for exploring Chiang Mai, being north west of the old town when most of the attraction are within and to the east.

Very nice breakfast and excellent location - also very peaceful at night. We had a room on the east side of the building, so no view at all. Also the hotel used to provide a shuttle service to/from the airport, but this doesn't exist any more.

Location ,bed comfy I have checkd in at 3.00pm the reception the man name fy or ariyachai said the client have to wait for 15minute the roome not ready …I quite not happy because the staff seem dont care for keeping client waiting and not even apologize …I said I booked the room through booking.com on the early check in condition…and the time when I check in was 3pm it already late , when I turn away from the reception (ariyachai or fy ) he pouted or skew face to me when I turn away from him and my friend who came with me she saw it. This kind of manner was bad attitude of the hotel service ..and it shoud not ever happen …I was the client who was regularly stay this hotel for longtime since at ping nakorn nimman ,huaykaew ,riverside . For the room I got is no.503 ..the Bath room the water is leaking on the floor of bath room which is dangerous ..you can slip at night because the wet floor from water leak at under the sink ,it seem they never repair ,this bath room is too narrow for senior or disable person . The telephone in the room was not working at all.

I love everything about this hotel, from the location, the French eclectic DECOR, comfortable mattress and lovely bedding. cleanliness, breakfast buffet, the pool, the service staff, even the cost was affordable for three adults; just amazing! I will be referring to all my friends. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The pool and breakfast were very nice and room decor interesting. We had the family suite, which is very big and pretty, but with no sound isolation - people having breakfast (under our window) woke us up every morning. There was not so many staff in the afternoon. We could not order drinks by the pool (bar open, but none there). One day there was a huge wind by the pool, there was no staff to be seen. I was running around clearing the dishes left by other guests, closing the parasols as some were flying off, etc. Finally, the next day my girl drank pool water and vomited on the side of the pool. My husband cleaned most of it before he alerted the reception staff (again, no one by the pool). They insisted they finish the cleaning - only to tell us the next day we are to be charged 30€ for the service. We were not impressed, especially since we really helped prevent a lot of damage in the storm.

My same-sex partner and I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and overall, we had a really pleasant experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is great if you're looking for peace and quiet—tucked away in a tranquil alley about 200 meters from the main boulevard, which keeps traffic noise to a minimum. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is aligned with the runway of Chiang Mai airport, so you will occasionally hear planes taking off or landing. It didn’t bother us too much, but light sleepers might want to be aware. Getting to the Old City is easy and convenient—just a 5 to 10 minute taxi ride costing around 100 baht one way. Walking is also an option, with the distance being about 1 to 2 kilometers. The surrounding neighborhood felt very safe, with plenty of nearby restaurants, massage parlors, and laundry services, which made our stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was a bit of a mixed experience. The quality was good, but the selection leaned heavily towards Asian cuisine, with limited Western options. I personally enjoyed it, but my partner, who prefers Western breakfasts, found it less appealing. Additionally, the hot dishes were often lukewarm or cold, as the warming trays weren’t plugged in—a small detail that could be improved. One other thing to be aware of is the jacuzzi. While it looks inviting in the photos, the water is unheated and the same temperature as the pool. Western guests expecting a hot soak might be surprised by how cold it is. Despite these minor drawbacks, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for travelers who appreciate a quiet, well-kept place with friendly service and don’t mind a few cultural differences in amenities.
