DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte Airport

Room was clean and well air-conditioned on arrival. Staff was friendly on checking in and airport shuttle ran timely.

The room was clean. Breakfast was nice. Staff was very kind.

Room had a bad odor when we walked in, had to turn the air on, seemed to help some. Telephone in our room was broke, refrigerator didn’t work. No information in the room or from the front desk about places to eat in the area. Person at the check-in desk wasn’t very helpful. Entrance was unkept, mat at door was dirty. Won’t stay there again.

The Double Tree staff was excellent n were right there to pick us up at airport after our flight! Will definitely use again

I thought the breakfast was to expensive for what was offered.

The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the bar provided a nice atmosphere to relax. The only issue I experienced was regarding a $25 cash deposit. At check-in, I was informed that it would be refunded in cash. However, at check-out, I was told the refund would be processed back through a credit or debit card instead. I have not received the refund yet, but I understand it may take a few business days to be processed. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again.

It was ok and a lot of night noiso

The hotel was outdated and not well kept. No signage out front and the flags were ripped. And finally the front had damage from a truck that was prob too tall for the overhang. It was falling down. No one was working on it just a few cones around it. Expedia and/or the hotel should have communicated this because I would have definitely NOT chosen to stay there. Our room door was open when we got there and the hallways smell musty.

Booked this hotel at the last minute due to a flight cancellation and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were super friendly and the room was sparkling clean with a comfortable bed. There were also some nice extra touches such as free bottled water and quality Arabica coffee pods. And the free shuttle to the airport left right on time. Exceeded my expectations!

Staff at this place were friendly and courteous. The overhang for the entrance of this hotel was damaged and hanging so there was construction repairs going on to address it. This was an eyesore driving to the entrance. The luggage carrier was filthy and looked like it was never cleaned. This hotel looks like it can use some updating and detailed cleaning. There were no guests in the outdoor swimming pool and it was a hot sunny day. I guess it was not that clean. The room could use a deep cleaning. Old carpets but that is in every hotel we have stayed in. The toilet seat in the bathroom was so loose so I had to tighten the nuts in the back. The telephone didn't work at all with no dial tone. I had to call the front office on my cell phone and they said an engineer would come up to the room to check it. They never came up and I ended up bringing the phone down to the front desk. They finally fixed it by calling engineering. I'll make sure to avoid this place if I have to stay at Charlotte and look for another place.

There are some upgrades, very much appreciated, but the overall condition is 'sagging' but we had an uneventful night which was greatly appreciated.

I’m really glad I chose the DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte Airport because I had a great experience from start to finish. The room was exceptionally clean, and it’s clear that a lot of effort goes into maintaining the property, especially considering it’s an older hotel. Sherman, who greeted us when we arrived, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout check-in. His warm personality and professionalism made us feel genuinely welcomed. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.
