Grand Pacific Palisades

Bathtub not cleaned properly. There was still a hair left on the bathtub rim. I didn’t like timeshare trying to give me a “welcome package” after my check in. Have to pay $1 to shoot pool. Didn’t have cash on hand and the employees in the activity room said i would have to go to the ATM machine in the lobby. It was a pretty sad activity room. Resort fees should be waived in that case. Splash pad is a little run down. Some things weren’t working. Needs a face lift. Would I come back? Nope. Not enough “free” amenities for me to bring back my kids.

Master bathroom floor was water-damaged, toilet often didn't work. Time for an overhaul/maintenance of that area. Otherwise, great place and great staff.

We had a wonderful stay here! The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-maintained throughout our visit. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—everyone from the front desk to the service team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the onsite bar, which had a great atmosphere and a fantastic drink selection. On top of that, the hotel is very family-friendly, making it a stress-free and comfortable experience for anyone traveling with kids. Highly recommend, and we would definitely stay here again!

It was splendid and quick walk to Legoland!

Check in was supposed to be at 5pm and our room was not ready until about 6pm. I would not recommend the breakfast, overpriced for the quality. Love that the pool hours were until 10pm given we couldn’t get to our room that early but it does get cold at night.

Checkin at 5 room was not ready we were here for a wedding that was close by we addressed this with front desk wedding was at 6 front desk told us we could change in one of the bathrooms until the room was ready it was already 5:15 we changed in the lobby bathroom got to the crossing wedding venue after 5 30 we received the text the room was ready! Unbelievable! Then at checkin tried to sell us a timeshare! Never ever will my family stay at this place again. Charged over $400 for an overnight wuth no courtesy or apology.

Very nice, walked to legogland. Kids loved the pool. Activity center is a little silly if I had to criticize something, but generally it was perfect and would stay here again:)

Such an amazing stay at Pacific Palisades Resort in Carlsbad! Rosa at the front desk went above and beyond to help my family get settled into our room. She was incredibly pleasant to talk to and very understanding of our family’s needs and requests. The amenities were fantastic—an awesome pool for the kids, fun games throughout the property, and a beautiful view from our balcony. We truly enjoyed our time and would definitely stay here again.

Room was spacious, clean and accommodating in every sense of the word. Some of the pool areas, needed tending to, repairing or cleaning.

Exceeded our expectations!! You can text the front desk 24/7 which was amazing because I hate having to call sometimes when my little ones are sleeping but need something quickly answered. The room was so great it had everything we needed and more. The fact there was a short and bathtub was so helpful for us. The kitchen had many items needed to cook. The pools, playground and other community amenities were so great, never experienced anything like it. We were a 9 min walk to Legoland and so close to the flower fields and many other things to do (strawberry fields). My kids had the best time. Will be returning again with more family in the future.
