The rooms are very small and our bed had walls on 3 sides so if there's more than one of you, you are climbing over eachother to get in/out of bed. It's incredibly bare bones. We had a bed, a very small desk and a bathroom, basically nowhere to put your clothes, no fridge to keep water or anything. Bathroom was OK, beds were comfy and the place was clean and tidy enough. It wasn't awful but it was incredibly expensive for what we got. It was pretty extortionate for the offering to be honest. Would stay here again? Maybe for a night or two at a good price but a week here was only bearable because we spent most of our time out in the city.

Overall the staff was great, but it's definitely one of the more paired down experiences a hotel can offer. Basically just rooms and a lobby with nothing else to offer. The rooms are tiny with awkward layouts, but par for the course with a cheaper NYC hotel. The area can't be beat, fantastic and very walkable. The lobby smelled a bit of sewage , all the doors on the floor slam (hard to sleep) and the room walls were paper thin, but otherwise it was a fine hotel.

To make matters worse, we felt that we were treated in a racially discriminatory manner by some of the staff. We were not treated with the same respect or attention that other guests seemed to receive, and our concerns were dismissed instead of being taken seriously. The bathroom was also unbelievably small. It was so cramped that it was difficult to shower comfortably. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Poor customer service, unacceptable room conditions, and treatment that made us feel unwelcome. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will never stay here again.

The staff here were so incredibly kind and helpful, can't say enough good things about them. The location was perfect for where we needed to be, very convenient. They were actively painting the hallways, trying to stay on top of maintenance which is great! The room was incredibly small- which is fine and to be expected in NYC. The floors didn't feel clean in the room (sticky?) and the bathroom was poorly designed (shower gets water everywhere and is very difficult to turn on and off, sink faucet also gets water everywhere but the sink). The biggest issue really was the noise- people were in the lobby at 4am yelling incessantly and banging on the wall.

Great stay for a great price in Brooklyn!

Perfect place right near Barclays! Rooms are small, as expected (it’s NY!), but was very clean and well kept. Was very happy with the experience from the helpful front desk folks to the room being what it needed to be for a couple nights in BK. Saved and will be back!

Great rooms and clean environment

The room was clean and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The only 2 complaints I have were that our room didn't have a refrigerator and the sound travels immensely through the walls

Great location and value. Helpful staff and comfy bed & linens.

If travelers are only looking for a very clean, newly renovated room for a reasonable price , this can work. Issues-the room was too small- the size of a bed with 2 end tables. Please at least add space for 1 chair and perhaps a luggage rack and room to open luggage. The lobby has no character and leaves no desire to sit there. A rooftop bar photo was on the website but it doesn’t exist yet, nor is there a restaurant. We took the elevator to the top floor and were very disappointed. I didn’t see a hair dryer. Barely room to move in the shower and touching the shower curtain while trying to bathe was never in my plans. I believe valet parking to the nearby ” available parking” as advertised did not exist. Please make a few improvements.

Was my first time at the hotel and the area of Guwanus, beautiful, great location to restaurants stores parks very nice

Room was good, price was fair, location was great. A broken A/C unit was a pity, though the offer to refund 50% was appreciated. Communication was terrible, I emailed several times with zero response.

Nothing, it was a scam. The pictures are not what the place actually looks like. It’s dirty, broken, smelly. The moment we entered the lobby we noticed it had nothing to do with the pictures posted on booking. Everything is run down, the hotel smells horrible. We still went up to the room to check it out, the hallway smelled rancid, the room was dirty and dusty. The sink was broken. It was obviously a scam. We had to book another hotel immediately

Overall, my experience was mixed. On the positive side, the hotel's location was convenient, the bed was comfortable, the shower is good and the staff were friendly and welcoming However, there are several areas that I feel need improvement. The room felt overpriced for its size — it was small and did not offer good value for the rate charged. The bathroom sink was also very small, causing water to spill out when brushing teeth, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the coffee station in the lobby was frequently empty and never restocked during my stay. The TV was terrible, there is no local channels and most of them are pay channels. Most notably, housekeeping was not provided — my room was not cleaned, the bed was not made, and no fresh towels were left, which was disappointing for the price point.

The staff were very helpful, but the room was way more bare bones than i expected. First floor rooms are noisy due to the proximity to the lobby.
