The owners clearly went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to make our stay pleasurable. I also enjoyed the way they communicated by email with us in a clear and timely manner, and during our stay via tagged cupboards and drawers in the kitchen. My only gripe is the existence of an air vent pipe that crossed our room and was very hot during part of our stay -- thereby heating up the room in ways that were unexpected and unpredictable. Better heat insulation of that pipe would improve the situation

Super cute little place. Close proximity to subway line. Excellent shower!!

Amazing breakfast! Convenient location between 2 MTA stations, very clean and quiet and extremely well-labeled

No one reply’s to me when I try to use my one night credit. Now they refuse to even give me credit at all. I understand there is no refund but I contacted the property prior to the stay and they said they will give me one night credit because they took my money!!!!

Basic property had all the necessities and a phenomenal array of bathroom products! Room was small, hard to maneuver in

This place is delightful! The bed is the most comfortable I've been in so far on these trips. The facilities are as clean as you can imagine. The location is central to one of the hippest neighborhoods in Brooklyn. You can get decent food options pretty late within walking distance. And the owners are lovely folks! It's only a 15-minute walk from Yoga Tribe BTW. Parking is difficult. Arrive early, get up and move it, or plan for a garage. New York is a train city.

Nothing much, i think the stairs are a little bit hard to climb if you have a luggage. that's all.

I happen to like the neighborhood! Not too bad at night, with some stores still open. It's a quick walk to Yoga Tribe and just a little further to Prospect Park, the Botanical Garden, and several subways. Quiet chill vibes, not a place to party. Personable owner is very attentive to details. Semi-self serve environment means a great location at a very good price! Well I'm a bit noisy; the rooms are close and share a kitchen and bath. Doesn't bother me any, but if you need a lot of space or wide personal aura, this might not be ideal.

The room was as clean as a 3+ star hotel plus it gave you a warm home vibe. All guests had to take off shoes going inside to keep the environment clean. It's a very positive experience because everybody cherishes this place. The hosts are super responsible and nice. The neighborhood is great, too! There's an amazing Jamaican restaurant nearby called Jerk Pit that totally blows up my understanding of Jamaican food. I think the food alone is worth staying in here. I will for sure recommend this place to my friends who are visiting Brooklyn. Not really.

Fun neighborhood in Little Caribbean. If steps are a problem this place requires three flights with only one intervening landing. There is no elevator. Other than one large room, the others are well laid-out, but limited in space.

I was blown away by how great the Imperial Stay was! It’s hard to find affordable accommodations in NYC that aren’t trashy. The Imperial Stay was affordable, but also clean and well organized. Host Fran does a great job making sure this is a pleasant place to stay. Will definitely look to stay here next time I am in the city.

location in Crown Heights. Fran is a spot on communicator. shared bathroom was a surprise. The listing states there is a shared kitchen, but no mention of the bathroom being shared.
-
first off, Fran is one of the sweetest most amazing people I’ve ever met! She is a delight. She keeps everything so clean and spotless and works so hard and she’s very generous about food. She doesn’t want anyone not to be fed in her “home” and you really feel that hospitality from the minute you get there! So, she made our stay special! I am old to walk up stairs with luggage… hard to gauge from this app how challenging that can be, but Fran helped us carry things up and down again, making our stay special with her sweetness !
