Hampton Inn Birmingham I-65/Lakeshore Drive

Great location. Hotel was quiet. Safe area. Only issue was elevator out of service. Bed was very comfortable.

I stayed at this Hampton Inn in Birmingham @Lakeshore and it was so amazing. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and assisted me with everything. I was so amazed!! Big thanks to front desk desk, Faith. Tremendous help to me I arrived ar night and was alone. Big shoutout to the lady who worked breakfast 11/16 - she helped me find more honey. This location is amazing. I will b back soon!! My daughter will b attending samford and I have chosen my go to hotel- Hampton Inn lakeshore drive/I65!

Clean and comfortable room. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Located near shops and restaurants. Wonderful stay.

Nice place to stay with family.

The hotel is in a great location off of I-65 in Birmingham. It's a beautiful area and the hotel has been renovated. I'm glad there is no longer nasty carpeting on the floors. The staff moved us promptly to another room when I called the front desk to report that our TV wasn't working after we had checked in. My husband and I would definitely stay there again!

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was nice. Room was clean and stocked. The room feels very dark as there is not overhead light, only lamps. You can also tell the rooms are older with some wear and tear.

in the bathrooms near the breakfast bar, there needs to be a disinfectant spray for everyone to use

The location, and that’s it! The toilet had dried stool on it! And, the shampoo dispenser was empty! Both things were reported to the clerk at the desk who offered no apology, and very much downplayed the seriousness of the dirty toilet. If housekeeping can’t clean a toilet, how can the rest of the room and hotel be trusted? The clerk also said re: the empty shampoo dispenser that housekeeping doesn’t know it’s empty unless guest reports it, which is simply not true. This hotel ruined me for Hampton Inns. Also, The hall smelled like marijuana!
