Hamilton Inn Bessemer, AL - Birmingham

Location Smelled bad, room was not clean, toilet almost overflowed, brown stains in bed sheets, box springs brown and yellow, TV stand not clean, dirt on the floor.

How easy it was to check in and out Bed was very hard, floors were very sticky, room was not very clean, shower head did not work.

King: no hot water in the shower, sheets were clean and bed comfortable, smelled so bad of cleaner that made both people in the room sick. Staff very friendly. 2 queen- floors were sticky and dirty, shower hot, bed clean and comfortable, overall was not cleaned well, smelled of cleaner and incense was burned right before we arrived. While the price was good, we won’t be staying there again.

Breakfast was fine, parking was sufficient for me as a handicapped person.

We arrived to a very dirty room - there were numerous bad stains on both exposed boxsprings - all around both of the beds. There were crumbs on the chairs and crumbs on the bathroom counter. The floor was sticky in several places. It actually looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long while. We left and went to a different hotel.

Room was filthy. Many nefarious people wandering around the halls and elevators later at night. Staff warned us not to leave anything of value in our vehicles.

Nice place to stay. It’s an older hotel, but it’s clean and safe. Staff was super friendly. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Would stay there again.

This is an older property. Overall the room was clean, the bed was comfortabe, and the room amenities were fine. The breakfast choices were very good. The downside was being on the first floor next to the outside door. Some of the guests were a little loud slamming doors in the middle of the night. It was only a one night stay so nothing to worrisome.

when we got there, they did not have any queen rooms available. Since it was just my daughter and I, we told them to just give us a king room because all the hotels in the area were booked. Once we got to our room, it was decent. The toilet wasn’t clean, there was no shower curtain, and the tabletops weren’t dusted. I’ve certainly stayed in worse, but they could do better here. The people that checked in before us came back while we were checking in and requested a different room because they claimed their room smelled of smoke and had a half drank bottle of coke.

The hotel is in great need of an upgrade! No toilet paper or Kleenex. Also no shower curtain. TV didn’t work. We also found fake nails on the floor. Mattress were disgusting! The gentleman and maintenance guys were very nice. On checkout, the lady wouldn’t even get up and come out of office! Would recommend running away from this place!!!
