I had an amazing birthday celebration here. This property couldn’t be more beautiful but the hotel gave me a lovely birthday surprise without any request. I just felt amazing. Thank you!!

Great hotel

Always love it - a little odd this time as Team Australia was staying - that was neat but weird that they had the stairway clocked for security - I wonder if next time they have a floor buy out they can set something up to allow access to the stairs for when the inevitable elevator slowdowns hit.

Very nice place for our staycation

It is an old and historical building, so, it smells old. The location worked great for us. The building is impressive and well kept. Ceiling felt low on the bedroom. The gym and spa were great, food was excellent, including the coffee. Staff was available and helpful.

Fantastic view and I’m glad we upgraded to the room with a view of the Bay. Beautiful day and night.

It was making as always - we love coming here for a getaway

A relaxing escape in the Hills overlooking the bay. A beautiful view to fall asleep too, and to wake too. As a fitness junkie, it was one of the best resort gyms I've been to. The dining area is were very inviting, and the food was excellent. Highly recommend. We will come back.

The fact that we can enjoy a resort like experience with a beautiful pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, gym and spa at the foot of the Oakland/Berkeley hills is really fantastic. The housekeeping and support staff are likewise great, warm and always available for any last minute requests like a vase for flowers. I love the Claremont and we will be back for sure. 5 stars all the way.

Superb

What a class act. It meant so much to feel heard and gave that special touch. Their food and drinks were also delicious. We had a gem salad with rotisserie chicken and lime drops (light on the simple syrup). For breakfast we split the bagel. Only a catch there, but they gave us crème freche instead of cream cheese and pickled onions instead of regular red onions. Note to room service: regular cream cheese goes on a bagel not crème freche and pickled onions go on tacos, not bagels. It’s a thing ;) Otherwise, stellar time and will be back. I loved how quiet the property was and the beds were super comfortable and fluffy, but not too soft. Thank you for a wonderful memory!!

It was an excellent stay. All the hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating.

The room was very small, and we could only open the window. Sometimes the smell of perfume was very strong, and there was nothing we could do except open the door
