The only issue with the room was that it didn't have an iron or ironing board, which was a little inconvenient. My biggest complaint was the payment process. I booked through Hotels.com and selected the "Pay at Hotel" option, but my card was charged at 3:30 a.m. on the day of check in, before I even arrived. When I asked about it, I was told they charged it "in case I was a no show." I've never experienced this before, and I didn't see it listed anywhere in the booking policy. If I choose to pay at the hotel, I expect to be charged when I check in, not beforehand. Also, if you're visiting The Domain in Austin, keep in mind the hotel is about 3.5 miles away. It's a quick drive, but definitely not within walking distance. Despite those minor issues, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

We loved our suite, the lobby and amenities. I did not like the check in experience because the person at the desk refused to use the card on file for incidentals which we had used earlier in the week for another stay. So I tried to use my phone to tap my card in my virtual wallet and that was not allowed either, which is ridiculous. She literally would not give us our keys even though the visit was completely paid for and made me use a card I didn't want to use for the incidentals.
