This hotel once use to be hot stop for good summer vibes with a resort style feeling . We are normally in Austin for business trip as we work with the government So we are regular customers , we will not be coming back to this hotel in Austin. Beware they have charges that come out of nowhere. The manager Ms Belvia. Or whatever her names was … wasn’t help and did nothing to help us but smile. We didn’t get our security deposit back at check out. Mangaer told us they used it for parking but I had money set aside for parking when I was ready to check out. They didn’t tell us they were going to charge my card. Which they could’ve called the room and explained. Instead they waited till 5 am to do so. Just an overall bad experience for a hotel That had so much vibe and culture. Me and my family will not be staying here again on our next business trip. And we will not be recommending any of our partners to this establishment. P.S. - make sure you check your bank statements and receipts. They will add stuff without you noticing

Everything was great. Just wish they didn’t have to charge $40 for parking.

I booked through Hotels.com, and nowhere during the booking process was it made clear that parking would cost an additional $57 per night. There is no convenient free parking available nearby, so guests are essentially forced to use the hotel’s valet service. Charging paying guests such an excessive amount just to park is unreasonable and feels deceptive when it is not clearly disclosed upfront. What was even more frustrating was the hotel’s handling of the security deposit. Like many travelers, I understand that hotels place a hold for incidentals. However, when I checked in, staff simply took my card without clearly explaining that they would authorize the entire cost of my stay plus an additional $100. As a result, approximately $430 was unavailable to me during my trip. Because I checked in on a Friday night, the funds were not released until the following Monday due to weekend banking delays. That left me without access to money I had planned to use during my stay. A simple explanation at check-in would have allowed me to plan accordingly. The lack of transparency regarding both the parking fees and the credit card hold left a very negative impression. Had these charges been clearly disclosed upfront, I could have made an informed decision about whether to stay here. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it.

Never stayed at a Cambria before (and have never heard of the brand) but was super impressed with the modern clean and spacious rooms plus useful amenities. Unlike old properties, this one has a large collaborative space that you can eat and work out near the lobby. The pool area is surprisingly gorgeous. The food (pool bar and breakfast) were delish. I have nothing bad to say. The staff were helpful and I would definitely go back.

The back of the hotel backs up to open are clubs on Rainey st, loud music and bass played all night, not a single review mentions loud music, which was weird because housekeeping leave earplugs in the rooms for you. Got bamboozled on this booking for sure, great place, if your not planning to sleep in the room

Reserved for a visit by relatives. They enjoyed the stay. Location is right off the highway so drop off and pickup is a bit tricky. One room also faced noisy Rainey Street. Music can be loud from nearby bars. Hotel is well maintained. We chose it for its location, mainly, for their quick weekend visit.

Super friendly staff!

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room upon arrival. There appeared to be dried mud on the floor in the entryway leading to the bathroom, and there was a red stain on the bed comforter. Guests should not have to encounter these issues when checking into a room. I hope housekeeping standards can be improved for future guests

LOUD MUSIC!!!! Warning if you plan to sleep at this is not the hotel to stay at, they put earplugs in your room!! the fact there is no disclaimer on this experience is alarming!! BOOK a different hotel

We were there for two nights. The room was not cleaned nor was there a notice inviting us to forego changing the linens. Just nothing except a small typed notice saying we could tip the help by clicking on a provided QR code. We didn't click on that but we were also presented with a way to tip the valet parking people through a QR code.. Since I never carry cash and didn't realize there was an ATM in the hotel, I foolishly clicked on that code. I reached a site that took my payment information. The next day there was a charge for $119 from a company I never heard of. I went to the website noted on my bank statement and got a very poor "bot" with a terrible Texas accent who said she was "Jolene", kept calling me "darling" and asking for my "reservation number". I called the Cambria and they sent me to Valet parking guy who said that all charges went to the Hotel. The bank has given me back my money but we left with a terrible feeling about the whole experience and No, I will not recommend the Hotel, althought staff at the desk was very professional. The rest was not.

Place was really nice! Only serious annoyance was the motion sensor lights. Every shower was spent mostly in darkness when the lights cut out from lack of movement which seems hazardous to me.
