Standout Features & Amenities Bespoke In-Room Breakfast: Instead of a standard buffet, a complimentary continental breakfast is delivered directly to your door. It featured fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries), artisan pastries that appeared to be locally made, and fine cheeses. Premium Coffee: The room is stocked with high-quality coffee sourced directly from their local shop, completely avoiding the generic options found at most hotels. Impeccable Design: The bathrooms are beautifully executed. The color palette throughout the room is classy and elegant, achieving a sophisticated look while remaining clean and understated. Summary If you are looking for exceptional service, thoughtful local curation, and elegant design—especially for a special occasion—The Restoration Asheville delivers an unmatched experience.

Wonderful hotel that sits right in the center of downtown! Lovely, spacious, and well-appointed room and appreciated the free afternoon charcuterie/wine and morning breakfast basket. Will definitely stay at The Restoration next time we visit Asheville.

Our bartender at the Watch Bar, inside the hotel, was Shay. We ordered crunchy flat bread as an appetizer but after talking with Shay, we decided to stay for dinner and drinks. The teriyaki chicken was moist but smoky and the rice had that wok hei found in finer Chinese restaurants. After consulting with us, Shay did not disappoint with the drinks. We ordered a Patton Ave Saint (refreshing) and some others not on the menu. More delight in the morning with straw picnic baskets delivered at our rooms containing fresh cinnamony coffee crumb cake, an apple and a cheese stick/ per guest. Highly recommend. In fact I bought the last large candle of the fragrance wafting in the lobby so we can remember our stay...

I absolutely love the unique vibe of this hotel. Best location in the middle of downtown. Outdoor terrace is excellent for the weather played FIFA at night) rooms are very comfortable. We had a nice window overlooking the park. Staff is inviting and helpful from the valet to front desk. The basement bar and games area is fun. Live music. Third time here and will return.
-
Amazing in every single way! Staff was incredible and the hotel was so beautiful.
-
Amazing hotel with everything you need in one location. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the restaurant, the cocktail hour, the pool table in the bar downstairs...it was all so much fun. It was like a little retreat in the middle of downtown.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. It was very clean and the staff was super helpful. We really enjoyed the happy hour with the charcuterie board. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay at a really nice hotel hotel, but also not to break the bank.

We enjoyed 4 nights in Asheville at the Restoration Hotel, located right downtown. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Our room with a balcony was lovely for enjoying morning coffee and a treat from the continental breakfast picnic basket we found outside our room each day. The Staff at the valet, front desk, housekeeping, and in the rooftop bar and lobby restaurant were all excellent. The free jeep rides within a 2 mile radius were handy for running to a store or to do takeout. Our only recommendation for improvement is that on our last night there the rooftop bar and the kitchen (and so restaurants) were both closed due to a staffing crisis. This was the night we planned to eat in while we packed for an early flight out the next morning. There was no alternative given by the hotel for the inconvenience. I wouldn’t expect this from a 5 star luxury hotel. We hope it was a one-off situation because it could hurt their reputation. Overall we enjoyed the hotel and would still recommend it.
-
My only feedback would be that the kitchen closed earlier than the posted restaurant hours, which was disappointing when I came down for a late dinner. Overall though, the hotel’s charm, location, and atmosphere made for a memorable stay. I will absolutely be back on my next Asheville trip!

Unique take on breakfast: a picnic basket with fruit, cheese, and pastry left outside your door. Good coffee and a real drip maker in the room. Very convenient location.

great location, great amenties
-
We enjoyed our stay. Was as expected. Very nice place in a great location, with more than expected room amenities. A definite step above the typical hotel stay.
-
Great place to stay, everyone is very nice and accommodating. I highly suggest this hotel.
-
Everything was lovely- clean, well-maintained, stunning decor, great location, friendly staff, great coffee. The only problem was that the rooftop restaurant/bar and the basement lounge were booked for events the WHOLE time we were there (5 days).
-
We parked in the parking garage overnight and only paid $12! It was perfect. We would definitely stay there again.
-
I’d say the only downside may be a bit more helpful staff. Wasn’t bad, no one was rude or anything but valet didn’t help me with my luggage nor did reception ask me if I could use any help or even tell me where the elevators were. Most of the time when I check into a hotel they point me to where to go next. I kinda just wandered then found it.

Bars are great, coffee shop is great, gym is only okay….views of the parking lot aren’t great—which is what suites have so not ideal….views out the front onto the street are better but can be loud. Breakfast basket is such a nice touch! Love this hotel!

Good location. Clean rooms. In town for one night for a concert. Have stayed here before, always a dependable location. It was in walking distance to Asheville Yards which was nice. While i think as for the most part is it a safe hotel, you really need to be aware of your surroundings at all times. The homeless situation is sadly very much apparent in downtown. We walked to dinner, breakfast and the concert but again remained very aware of our surroundings. While not the hotel’s fault by any means, just the area and something to keep in mind.
