Drury Inn & Suites Amarillo

Love staying here but the pet fees per night are ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS now. It needs to be a set fee FOR THE STAY, NOT EACH NIGHT which adds nearly $100 per night to the stay if you have more than one dog. The absolutely sterling and helpful staff, whether front desk, dining room, cleaning the rooms, etc. are amazing, especially the ever sweet woman at the front desk who ALWAYS is kind, cheerful, and willing to help us in any way she can! I wish I could remember her name!

The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Offering your guests something to eat after a long drive is so incredible and the food was delicious! This was our first stay at a Drury hotel and will not be our last! Thank you!

Everything was great from check in to check out. Great location. Spacious room. Nice pool.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite hotels to stay in. The ladies up at the reception area are always super helpful. You get a hot breakfast in the morning which I love. I also love that they have a soda fountain so before we hit the road on any road trip, I can fill up my cup. Also, the beds are super comfortable.

Dinner and breakfast was delicious and convenient. Our room was spacious and perfect for us and our 2 small dogs. We will always recommend Drury and search them out when we travel.

Have stayed here multiple times & it's always a good stay.

The front desk staff was so nice. We had a wonderful room with comfy beds. The kids enjoyed a very clean pool and hot tub. We all had a great dinner and breakfast. The Drury is a favorite of ours, because it is consistently clean, great place to stay.

Air conditioning was not working in room. Staff was very accommodating and helped move me to another room. But something is up with their AC as l still was not able to cool room below 70.

Amazing stay on the plaza. So much of the city is in walking distance, it's wonderful. And the Drurys kickback meal at night plus the 3 free drinks is a terrific perk. Staff were great, the Valet guys were the best! Good breakfast, but not amazing. Hotel layout is great, lots of places to relax from many patio to pool and spa and bar near the Pool. There is a parking fee, but worth it since everything s close. Wonderful stay!

Exceptional

We really enjoyed the Kickback.

Kathy or Cathy as I don’t remember was exceptional. She greeted us as we approached check in, chatted with us appropriately and made us feel welcome. Drury could do no better when it comes to staff/guests interaction. She deserves a raise as she, and not the room, the wine or the food, made us want to return and to use Drury whenever we travel by car. You could have no better emissary than she is.

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room particularly we killed a roach on the TV counter and a spider was in the bed when pulling back the sheets. It may have been because the room did have a terrace (door to the balcony). I notified the staff when checking out and they were receptive of the notification and said they would get the room sprayed. The front desk personnel were friendly and courteous even with late check-in.

The gym needed some improvement. And i am not a fan of pets in the breakfast area. The dog was NOT a service dog. And she petted her dog then went up to get her food at the breakfast buffet.

Staff is very helpful and pleasant. Elevator is slow . Need update showers .

The location is great. Price was way too high for the room we got. Room was small and facing the freeway. Lots of traffic noise. Food was under par. Price was way too high for sun evening and dogs in dining area.
