Motel 6 Albuquerque, NM - Northeast

The place was littered with homeless people and people out on the corners selling drugs. This place is old and in the bad side of town.

The only up side was that it was close to a variety of dining. The property was not maintained very well. The glass door upon entering the motel 6 was spider webbed cracked like someone punched it. The person working the desk was not friendly and she had to short change me .75 cents because they didn't have proper change to cover paying with 100 dollar bill for a room that cost $67.25 but require you to put a 50 dollar deposit for the room. The first room I checked into the TV and ac weren't working and the ac looked like it was beaten on and there were cigarettes holes in the top blanket of the bed. so I tried to get my money back because at this point I was feeling uneasy about the area and wanted to stay somewhere else but she only could offer to room move me so I did. The next room was slightly more decent but nothing looked like the pictures on the internet, but at least the ac worked and so did the TV but they didn't offer soap shampoo etc... but I was able to get through the night and get back to my road trip but was disappointed because I stayed in a different motel 6 in albuquerque 2 weeks earlier passing through going the opposite direction and it was so much nicer and even 10 dollars less I should've looked for that again but I was tired from driving 12 hours and picked the closest motel 6 to where I was at the time.

NOTHING! A bad experience because we could not even find how to get to the hotel. Up one road and down another we could see it but we couldn’t get to it. They had closed gates and cones up blocking off entryways. We wound up not even being able to stay there. It looked like it wasn’t even open. We had to find another location late at night.

Property closed. And was run down completely. My reservation had been canceled by the hotel and no notice was sent to me. And I am still waiting for the hotel to refund my money. Ridiculous.

When I made the reservation online, the information indicated the motel was 6 minutes from the airport. Instead, when I went to the address provided, I discovered it was 25 minutes from the airport and was in fact closed for renovations. The neighborhood and the hotels around it were clearly providing housing for those without permanent housing.

Absolutely nothing. The pool was not operating, closed down. This motel had weekly/monthly residents. Neighbor smoked pot and the smell carried into my room. There was no refrigerator. The mattress was uncomfortable and the cover had burn holes in it.

worst place!, nasty, no fridge or microwave as shown in room pictures. bed was lumpy, hard, floor was dirty in corners, tub still had hair in drain. non smoking room smelled of cigarettes, and urine. people hanging out in the parking lot, Husband seen drug deals, drug use, he felt very unsafe! no coffee or deli available as in the property description

They treat you with respect The motel room has flooded. I went there, but when I came back, it was flooded in the bathroom, but they thought I had get it, but I wasn’t even there and come and find out that it was your problem with the bathroom so they move me into another room I like to death that was pretty good so yes, I would like to go back there and invite friends there. Yes, they treat you real good

Had to change to a ground floor, because king rooms were only on the 2nd floor and they have no elevator. Was told the room had 2 queen beds, but the beds were double beds. Also no blankets on the beds at all. Beds were not comfortable at all.The latch lock was broken so we could only use the dead bolt lock.

Nothing much to say. The one guy is always rude to everyone. He keeps your deposit every morning when you go to check out and tells you 4 different reasons on why he won't give it back. The room flooded during a bad rain storm. I spent until 2 am wipeing up water and ringing it out . The AC stopped working and they wouldn't fix it.

Passable

Gave me the wrong room. After they corrected that, the room key did not work after one yes. Had to return to the office for a new key. Room in poor condition, property in desperate need of refreshing and very noisy all night. Will not stay again. Very disappointed in stay.

It was dirty, the mattress was low quality and uncomfortable, the TV did not work, the pool, in the summer, was drained, and the office door had a huge crack in the glass. Also, i could see a huge beam of daylight through our rooms closed door. Not going back there!
