Comfortable, very nice swimming pool area, friendly staff & good food.

Localization and very friendly personnel

Beachfront, old „Seebad“ architecture, short walking distance to many points of interests including restaurants, bars, stores and the iconic sea bridge. There is also a big breakfast buffet. Short stay, so we got the „spare room“ view. But very clean and comfortable anyway.

Great location right on the sea front. Comfortable room with balcony overlooking the sea. Parking tricky on first night as not possible to book hotel garage in advance. Second night got a space in the garage.

The Baltic is the best part of the trip, period. Long days of swimming and tanning with the occasional bike tour. But next time, I will find a Ferienwohnung or try one of the even slightly more remotely located villas as the hotels are obvious ripoffs and should be avoided like the plague (apart from the overworked but wonderfully accommodating mostly Polish staff). Tiny room (2 people have to negotiate movements!) for an obscene amount of money. Yes, a sea view, but a godawful 1-man band hired by the hotel to annoy everybody with such rooms for hours on end- which meant keeping the window closed and suffocating. Sheesh!

Marvelous breakfast: varied, healthy, seasonal, local, fresh. It is served in a spacious and well-lit room just next to the promenade and the sea. The staff is efficient welcoming, helpful and always with a smile! The SPA area is clean and nice (3 saunas, 1.3m pool), for more people might feel a bit small though. Our (spotless clean) apartament in Strandschloss was just enough for my family and very quiet. Comfy beds! The location of this hotel is just perfect, too. I think that our bathroom needs some renovating but it wasn't a big problem :)

Beautiful view of the ocean. Friendly seagull at our window. Exceptional breakfast buffet with many vegetarian options. Really nice and helpful staff. Nice historical photos in hallways. Wet sauna wasn't working. Food was very expensive.

Small room but tasteful and comfortable. As we only had bed and breakfast, we wanted to book dinner in the hotel at Christmas but found the set menu price of €99 p. p. without any drink, was rather high.

Nice breakfast. Disappointing set menu dinner. Large portions but mediocre quality.

The wellness area (pool, recreation room, and sauna) was very noisy, people playing loud music on boomboxes, children jumping into the pool from the sides, screaming and shouting. There was not even a door between the recreation room and the pool, so relaxation was not possible. Although we complained about that, the hotel staff did nothing. I don't mind children playing in the pool, but then the hotel should not advertise this as a wellness area. And the minimum I expect is that they enforce their own rules.
