SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Brandywine Valley

Breakfast was not allergen friendly and selections were poor. My wife could only eat the apples. Some hard boiled eggs would’ve been nice. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and listened to our concerns.

The price isn't worth it

The water in our room came out black and there was no water at breakfast.

The room needed a good cleaning and we didn’t eat the breakfast because we didn’t like the looks of it and there was no sitting available. Actually, the whole hotel was dirty. No worries, we won’t return.

Beautiful clean room…..well taken care of. So much so I asked if the rooms were recently updated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for what I paid.

I would not recommend staying here. We were in town for a sports tournament. Entire area is pretty run down surrounding the property. Lobby was okay, check in was easy. Key cards for the door were impossible to use. You had to hold it up to the lock for at least a minute to hear the clicking to open. Overall room looked ok at first glance. Bathroom was horrendous. There was a VERY loud exhaust fan that you couldn’t turn off. Both nights in a row there were cockroaches roaming around in the bathroom. Shower was not useable, covered in mold as well as the curtain. AC unit was a residential one that would belong in a home. Did the job but not very cool plus was very loud. Doors don’t shut correctly so every time the people in the room next to us left their room in the night they had to slam the doors shut. Anytime anybody used water around you the walls made awful loud noises. Pool was ok, hot tub/small pool area were completely filthy and not useable. The TV was blurry and has zero options to watch anything. Overall I would say it’s not even worth its low price, I would never stay here again. Biggest concern being the cockroaches.

The steps was not clean

It just need a new renovations everything is old outdated and filthy!!!

We had to stay at another hotel and will be either seeking a refund through you or the FTC

We got the the room in main level so our parking was right there with the room. Swiminpool was okay and staff was helpful. Included breakfast was there but just for the name sake. Wrt to price they charged, it was not worth it. I will not stay in that place I got decided by the pictures they showed.

It was dirty and plus nothing was working on the room that I got. They gave us another dirty room with a least an AC working.

The breakfast selection wasn’t the best. The only thing that was good was the coffee and the waffle. I think they need a bigger selection of breakfast. The room was not swept right and the next day I found a brown roach in the shower. The pool was not cleaned. I had to scoop the bugs out myself. The Jacuzzi was not clean. The water was dirty and had trash in it. But the people who work there were nice.

I checked in but had to leave and ask for a refund. The room (211) was infested with roaches. The were o. The door, around the door and coming from under the red wall paper. It’s was horrible!

The front desk staff wasn’t helpful or accommodating. Poor customer service and breakfast wasn’t as appealing. We stayed on the first level and the house keeping and maintenance was super helpful and great customer service. Any issues in regards to our room they tried to resolve them.
