Motel 6 Williams, AZ - West - Grand Canyon

This location was inexpensive and we got what we paid for. Everything worked but there was hair all over the bathroom and the bed, both in our room and our friends' room. Some of the towels had old stains on them, though they did smell clean. We were only there to sleep so if you don't plan on doing anything else in the room and want a low cost location this may work for you but we won't be staying here again.

The staff was very nice and friendly. We were able to have our dog which made it nice. This hotel definitely needs to be updated and pool was closed which sucked since this was part of the reason we booked here. No refrigerator or microwave at this place. Needing a quick night stay it was nice.

It was in a good location and within our budget but it looks much better in the photos. It was a lot more run down and bare bones in person.

Quick check in. Room was clean but needs repainting. One bed was so squeaky we could not sleep on it. Shower was good.

Pool not working condition,, no refrigerator no microwave ,basically clean. bare bones basic. Location is nice quite safe.. really stingy on the towels, two little chips of soap no shampoo or lotion or toiletries. Bed was hard, but not bad. TV was probably a 19 inch. If you’re looking for cheap one night, it’s perfect.

Awesome place if you have a pet! Shower water would only get warm; not hot. That was the only problem.

I have stayed at the motel 3 times as it is very - near Route 40. It is also close to a Safeway and good place for breakfast- Pine Country Restaurant. The rooms are clean. The Check in desk is 24 hours. The beds are comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet.

Location was close to train station After booking I received a call from hotel advising the pool and hoy tub was not operational. I asked for a discount. They told me to call booking.com who I made reservations with. I called them they said the hotel has to give the discount and they sent the hotel an email as they could not get anyone to answer over the phone. I mentioned this at check in and the hotel staff told me to call booking.com. We specifically booked for the pool and hot tub. Very disappointed

The room was uncomfortable, some of the staff rude, no amenities, coffee was put out an hour after we were told it would be. An embarrassment as an American, as it is frequented by many foreign tourists due to its location near the Grand Canyon

I choose Motel 6 because back in the '70's, when the kids were little, we stayed at Motel 6. To be fair this particular motel had been closed, recently bought and I think it is being renovated. The walls and ceilings had been painted and I think the flooring was new. However, there were two beds and a table that were attached to wall, and two uncomfortable wooden chairs as furnishing. I am 89 years old and have balance difficulties. The toilet was so low I almost fell onto it when I sat down, getting up was an arduous challenge. My 63 year old daughter and I ordered a two bed room for two nights, we had enough towels for one person for one night, we asked for more and they said they would take some from a different room and bring them to us. But they didn't. I have a feeling that things will get better, but right now I would not go back to this Motel 6. ALSO, there were two more Motel 6es a block away from the one we stayed and they were advertising microwaves, refrigerators, and I think they would have been a better choice - if I had only known.

Good location thats away from the downtown. Beds and pillows were too firm. Rude and noisy people at night and in the morning. But what are you going to do. Good deal for the price overall.

Peaceful area just at the edge of town where everything was in walking distance but yet away from the bulk of the crowd and the noise. N/A

Overall I would give this motel a 7 out of 10. Pros: helpful staff, clean spacious rooms and walking distance to shopping and dining. Cons: pool was closed & bed mattresses are hard.

Felicia, from the Motel 6 West, helped me book rooms at the Downtown Motel 6 because I needed a refrigerator & microwave for my 6 day stay. After the morning of the first night, the water pipes broke, Willie, the maintenance grounds keeper contacted the owner to help obtain permission to continue my stay at the west Downtown location and not have to relocate to the West Motel 6 branch in Williams, AZ, that didn't have a refrigerator or microwave. The staff was so kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. Even though I had to spend Mother's Day in a motel room, the staff made me feel at home. I will always remember all the wonderful people at the Motel 6 Downtown and West with an unlimited amount of gratitude!! My stay without water caused me to obtain water in other containers in order to flush the commode. I had to obtain water several times to keep the commodes working.
