Staff were friendly and helpful!

Great location, great staff, great room. Stayed in many high end hotels and this one can compete with the best of them. Older, but super classy. I compare it to the Waldorf Astoria in NYC before the recent renovation. Old school class! Will try to always book this place when in DC.

I did mistake - and booked 21-22 june instead 22-23, and i asked to improve. When I wrote to Client service to change the date, they told they will not change, they will just cancell the reservation, and I just will come to 22 june to registre onsite... but when I came to the hotel 22 june they just said - that I didn't came last night, and they will charge for rhis night. After I just stayed 1 night there instead of two... I just moved to another hotel... such a wrong when yku ask them to just improve the mistake, and thsy tell will not improve but will cancell so that I would have a chance onsite registration....

Overall, a very pleasant stay. Room was nice, bed comfortable, bathroom functional but needs attention. Tub clogged, toilet paper roll kept falling off. Restaurant was excellent. Bar needs a refresh. It was too dark. Staff provided excellent service.

Great old hotel
-
Our room was clean and very comfortable. The cafe attached to the hotel was an excellent spot to start our day. The doormen were extremely helpful and kind. There is so much food and activities all with in a short walk of this hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting D.C. I absolutely loved our time there, only wish we had more.

This hotel was adorable and the staff were amazing! I loved the vintage vibe, it felt old school without coming across as dated and everything was super clean. The hotel is very easy to access from metro stops, including the line that goes up to IAD. Walking distance to White House as well. Our tub drain had a bit of trouble draining, but to be fair I’m sure we could have called and had it fixed very easily - we just were only staying a couple days, so we dealt with it. Speaking of the shower- EXCELLENT water pressure, so good that coming home to my real shower was a sad experience! All in all was an amazing hotel and if we come to DC again we would strongly consider staying here again. The only thing I will caution future guests about is when we booked, it said the deposit/hold was $70 per accommodation and it was actually $190, but the hold was released within an hour or so of checkout, very quick!

Fast check in, extraordinarily helpful staff, clean, spacious and comfortable room in a classic hotel. It is at the top of my “sure to stay again” list

Excellent location. Helpful, attentive staff. Highly recommend!
-
someone knocked on our door in the morning to clean the room and I told her about the air conditioning. she notified and someone came to fix it. however, we were checking out at noon. Also, the coffee maker did not work either. The front desk compensated me by taking the parking charge off our bill.

Location is very convenient. Staff was exceedingly helpful. Food in the Cafe Lombardy was very good and reasonably priced. This is one hotel I would gladly return to.
-
We loved the quaint atmosphere and the quiet elegance of this historic hotel. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. This hotel was also in a very good section of DC and easy to take the metro anywhere. The staff were great and Walde, the bellhop, was friendly and efficient. Couldn't ask for a better hotel during our stay in DC!

The staff was unwilling to give me the other key to my partners room, despite my name also being on the reservation which resulted in me having to pay for a whole different room and finding out my partner was on the same floor as me two doors down.
-
The staff were very friendly and helpful. All of my breakfast and dinner meals in the resturant were top notch. The Lombardy breakfast is to die for.
