It is the little things… the free water and quality snacks in the room were just the perfect touch to make us feel like valued guest!

Can't say enough good things about this place. We have a medium sized dog and all the staff were SO kind to him. From the full service valet/bellman to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was SO nice. The room was beautiful and the location perfect. The price was very reasonable for what we got. Will be back for sure!

That said they did make amends as best they could at the end of my stay. Kudos for that. Good hotel. Good staff. But I would recommend they warn guests in advance when they have construction and clean up the mess the construction creates.
-
Beautiful hotel in the heart of Vail. Would highly recommend.
-
Property needed maintenance. Was way over priced.

The staff is very helpful. They totally spoiled our dogs upon arrival! They got a whole bag of everything they could possibly need while staying at The Lodge.

1 its mandatory valet that is a 50.00 up charge thats paid when you check in per day. Also you have to tip the valet. I purchased a luxury room due to a garden tub where my daughter could enjoy a bath ( she 10) The tub spout didnt work. They compt us the 50.00 valet. Also after 1 swim session in the pool it had so much chlorine in it, it fried everyone's hair including my daughters long blonde hair. We washed and conditioned the hell out of it with minimal help to it. I would never stay at this location or any of there others. Dirty pool, dirty hot tub, trash being left out. There was dirty diaper left out from the previous occupant.

Staff was incredible and the property is beautiful and in a perfect location in the village.
-
Great location, so central to everything at Vail. Nothing to dislike. You pay for what you get.
-
Great location nice pool and a good breakfast

Exceptional staff and comfortable surroundings. Right in the heart of Vail Village.

Very good

The location was excellent. The property is a bit tired and the service falls short.

Quinn and Jonathan and the whole team were fantastic. I love my room and the location. And I got to have my fur baby, and the gym was fantastic. I couldn't stay another night when I needed it:) but Jonathan help me find another place.

Location is excellent but building is OLD and Heating/Cooling system is terrible in the summer. Beds are wore out and room was hot all night. My co-worker said the same of his room. Besides not being able to sleep well at all, the location is fantastic.

We were very impressed with the check in process and service provided by the front desk staff. The room had been renovated (so we were told), but the bed was definitely NOT new or comfortable (I had to sleep sideways). Also, I was not happy that the valet offered me a cart to take up my belongings (did NOT offer his services and I did not need them), then refused to allow me to take the cart myself....bit of a switch and bait. Checkout was smooth and we did enjoy the flavored water machine. Lastly, I was charged $50 for the valet to park my car less than 20 feet from the front door (literally, the first handicap parking space next to check in. This is just gouging (which has unfortunately become common at Vail!

Our room (256) was very small. We have stayed at this property at least 50 times in the past and this was the worst room ever.
-
It had entrance on to plaza with shops and restaurants so commute to dinner was five minute walk. Room had balcony to get a little fresh air and was spacious. Great stay, great staff, and great location.

Very nice location, but very dated and staff unprofessional. No Expedia perks given. I called before checking in and asked if I could park my brand new Porsche GT3 in the garage and was told sure that they had a garage. Then upon arrival and after checkin (where I asked a second time) the Valet said only they could park cars in the garage and even though I was charged full price I had to park my new car outdoors, or I had to park off the premises or let the valets drive it (It has a 6 sp w/ racing clutch so no way anyone but me was going to drive the GT3). I asked the valet what experience he had with 6 sp cars and he said his first car was a Honda Civic with a manual so no problem he can handle a 6 sp supercar even though they have never had one park there before to his knowledge. The bathroom had dried urine on the toilet and there was no hand soap in either bathroom, nor any body soap in either shower. (We were in a 1BR/2BA condo). The pool was under construction, and this was not noted in the hotel listing anywhere. The parking area was nearly half full of construction vehicles who were backing into things. Cars not safe there. I will not return, although I have stayed here a few times before.

We loved the location and our room was perfect for our group of 6. It was a little hot with no AC but the fans and mountain air helped a lot. Wish the hot tub jets had been working. Fitness room was very nice. The staff was very responsive and helped us immediately with every request!
