Good experience

Staff was friendly and accommodating. We needed some help with the tub draining and it was taken care of very quickly. Thanks for a nice stay.

Extremely dated.

This hotel has a standard of consistency, amenities, good staff and restaurants and I think they continue to do a great job.

Hotel stunk from walking in, room was awful, smelled bad, ceiling looked terrible , bathroom walls had cracks… looked like an old run down building

Staff incredible. Got stuck in elevator. The next day only 1 out of 3 were even functioning. Indoor pool GREEN. Weedy outside. Very soft beds for sleeping. Great breakfast buffet, but pricey. Yummy dinner options! Again, no better staff around, just please, please fix your elevators!!! .

Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful—really appreciated that!

The "Concierge Lounge" had a broken coffee machine, apples, and bananas. That's it.

I would definitely go back

Had a great stay at this Marriott. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Well maintained hotel. Breakfast in the morning was very good. My daughter loved both the indoor pool and the outdoor pool. She had a blast. Only thing missing was a hot tub. That would have been great. Would definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel as it was close to the church we were having my moms funeral. Our family rented numerous rooms, 3 nights each for the funeral and to spend time with the numerous family that travelled from out of town. EVERY NIGHT the smoke alarms kept going off. There was no staff to deal with this and everytime we fell back asleep AFTER GOING DOWN TO THE FRONT DESK they went off again. The first night it was approx 12 times. No one was called in the middle of the night to figure it out. So the day of the funeral, which I was in charge of arranging, my husband and I were completely exhausted. We had asked to be moved to a different room as apparently this was only affecting a few floors, but told no. We just checked out this morning and complained again and it’s as if it’s no big deal. We paid just under 1000.00 for 3 nights, NOT INCLUDING FOOD!

Room was very clean, staff was helpful at check in

Nice big room with comfy bed. Breakfast buffet had a great selection of food. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. The hotel needs updating, We arrived on a Sunday evening and it was not very clean. The carpets throughout the hotel needed vacuuming and the hall tables had water stains on them. In the morning, the dining area doors had had prints and smudges all over the glass. The curtains in our room were so worn, they were ripped along the creases.

Not enough selection for the price They charged me to different prices for 1 room on my bank statement. When I try to talk to accountant they don’t answer. I am fighting the charges now. Trumbull Marriot tells me they can’t see what I paid because I booked with bookings. I have a copy of my receipt and checkout. Some came in my room while I was to a funeral and took everything I had in there and cleaned the room after 4 pm. I call the head desk to see if anyone came in my room and she said she will find out. She never called me back but a man bought me the fruit bag, cake, and my medicine I had wrapped in tissue because I was gonna take before bed because I decided to take my suitcase to the car so I wouldn’t have to do the next morning because of the rain. Will never use this hotel again. I never seen anything like it.

- close to office I was traveling for - comfortable bed - not-feather pillows (feathers do not support my side-sleeping) - small gym and cardio rooms - space to work in room (desk) - neat reading lights on the bed’s headboard Cons: - old property (looks worn; ceiling tile in closet coming down, carpet bunches in places) - bathtub faucet sprays water out during shower (though I suppose the spray was nice for cleaning feet) - no fan for the bathroom (I don’t like not having a fan on during a shower) - room refrigerator did NOT work - asked if fridge could be repaired, but it never was while I was there - pool did not look clean enough to swim in (water looked yellow) [this is specific to the indoor pool; there is also an outdoor pool that I didn’t look at because it was too cold to swim outside] - hot tub listed as amenity, but covered by wooden boards and obviously not available - treadmills are older and squeak a lot during use - breakfast is not included in room price (continental AYCE, but $20+ per person) The price and distance are what I needed for the reason I was in the area, but I would not go out of my way to stay here again, despite the fact that this hotel was rated a little higher than others at a similar price. Not the worst hotel experience I’ve had, just too many cons to not give the other hotels a chance (and possibly pay a little more).

Excellent location near shopping center and BigY supermarket....near highway.

Staff was very friendly. Hotel advertised a hot tub. Which was not only not in use. But was told by staff it hasn't been in a long time. Def one of the ammenities we look for when booking a hotel. Also one of the elevators was out.
