The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk

We did like our city view that we had. There was a full moon, it looked gorgeous at night. Right across the Straz in the corner room 8th floor. It was walking distance from the armature wall & the Poe Garage, which we chose for parking. But the hotel is outdated. Yellow walls, the valance above the curtains were old. & the remote used for the tv was some old universal remote and it didn’t feel like a smart tv. No YouTube or Netflix. Also, are initial customer service experience with Victor, wasn’t good. I would stay again for views of the city and convenience.

Great place to stay on the Riverwalk!

Loved the location! The hotel was clean. Parking was great. The staff was friendly and the pool was nice.

Enjoyed our stay, room was very clean. The outside of the windows were not unfortunately which did not let us enjoy the view fully but it was a great view. The main issue were the beds. The structure was very bad every time we got on/off the beds it felt like they were going to break.

Great location and helpful staff. Rooms were a little dated but clean and nice! Pool was clean and well maintained! The Wednesday happy hour was great! Would stay here again!

Everything was good,no issues or disappointments

The staff were great. We appreciated the shuttle service. The location was great with easy access to the river walk and plenty of amenities nearby. There were two less than ideal things about the stay: they charge $20 a night to park onsite. There were always plenty of vacant spaces so it wasn't like there was a premium on spaces. Suggest stop charging guests for that enormous parking lot. I realize the restaurant attached to it is independently run (at least I think), but the food was mediocre with small portions. We only ate there once and that was enough. BUT the facilities and staff were great.

We booked on the spur of the moment, and everything was great! Free self service laundry, a nice pool the kids got to enjoy with no one else there, super clean and comfy room, and very nice people to help.

It was seamless and easy, no problems whatsoever with checking or stay. Enjoyed the experience

This property is starting to show its age. But staff was excellent, except for the bartender, who had obviously had had a long night by the time we got there by

The room was clean and beds were comfortable, had a great view outside our window. Would highly recommend it to anyone. The vending machine was broken on our floor and had to go to several other floors to purchase a bottle of water
