Carlton Motor lodge

The property was clean, room was nice - there really isn't much amunities and parking is a real problem - they have more rooms than parking spaces so you are crammed in and might park on the street - other than parking, was very good - - -

It worked for the price, we were going to Universal Studios so it was nice and close. They REALLY need to get new mattress, felt like the bed had a hole in the middle and springs sounded like there were gonna snap every time you move

This is a very small motel. If you don’t mind sleeping in small double beds, this is your jam. I didn’t like it.

If you have ever been to Van Buren in PHX that's how I seen the room, worst money we spent!!!

Location was great! The beds are spring beds.

Very bad squeaky beds. The place was quiet yes, but the beds were so hard and metal squeak with any move. Bad night overall.

The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. We were arriving late so we called to let them know and they reassured us it was ok. When we arrived it was a super quick check in. There is free onsite parking which is exactly what we needed. The location was also perfect for the price. We just needed one night and it was exactly what we needed it to be

Clean

This is a great location near Universal Studios and convenient to dining and shops. Great taco and sushi meals just a walk away. We were able to catch the bus right across the street and the fare is only $1 for seniors and was free on the way back. Though this is an old school motor lodge the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. I will stay there again if I go to Universal.

I really like that you get a microwave and mini fridge in the room with you it’s make everything so much easier The parking it’s very very small so if you have a big car I wouldn’t recommend it

We didn't stay. The place is not suitable for families. I wish I didn't have to write this but if can prevent another mother and kids from being stranded

near universal studio too noisy at night, when we got there the toilet bowl was dirty, can not connect to the internet.
