The welcome was pleasant and friendly. During the stay we kept Thomas in particular memory, as he was particularly helpful. We even met him on the street one morning, and he stopped and chatted with us. He was very personal to us. The rooms were good, the rain shower a pleasant start to the day. A little corner couch with TV was the highlight of our daughter. One evening we had some drinks in the lobby. The lady at the reception that prepared our drinks was just lovely. Our biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The breakfast area is so small and tight, and we were asked when we plan to come for breakfast. When I am on a holiday, my goal is to relax and not to schedule my breakfast. One morning we were tired and arrived later for breakfast. A lady wanted to let us know that our time had passed. However, her colleague stepped in and sat us at a table. Half of that little breakfast room was empty, and no other guests came after us. The parking situation was also not ideal. No hotel parking was available and the next public garage was a bit of a walk, and driving to get there total chaos. The city is horrible to drive a car in. However, that may be the poor city planning and the hotel's fault. Overall, we expected a little cozy boutique hotel but in the end it was a small city hotel with an undersized breakfast room. Ok for visiting the city when you need a place to sleep, less ideal for a cozy stay. Therefore the price was not justified in our eyes.
