Sleep Inn Springfield West

Room was clean and staff were helpful.

Bed was comfortable, the hotel was clean, not immaculate, but a good place to sleep. Central to food and shopping. The only downside was they must have just washed the carpeting in our room and it was not dry yet. The room was damp and your feet got wet when you walked on the floor. At least that shows they cleaned them, though!

We stayed on the first floor and noticed that there was a "homeless camp" set up by the railroad tracks. A little disturbing, but all was good.

Clean property. Check in and out was easy. Breakfast was great. Room was humid and had a mild mold smell. Location was great a lot of restaurants and grocery stores.

For the price we paid. It was an average hotel.

The room smelled like someone had been smoking in it. As a woman traveling with her grand child it was disturbing to find men in the parking lot drinking and hanging out. Not sure what hotel they belonged to but still uneasy
