Don’t bother with their so called restaurant. We went in at 9:40 and ordered eggs. A few minutes later we were handed our breakfast in paper box. Closed 10 am to 5 pm.

The staff was very nice and helpful.

The staff, the location, all were great. But why the Marriott Courtyard in Solana Beach, a Resort area, could not offer their guests a cup of hot coffee or tea in the morning was beyond me. The coffee pots in the room were next to awful. Most hotels, even the Holiday Inn Express have coffee in the lobby.

Love this hotel!!! Perfect location and comfy and spacious.

Beautiful patio/pool area. Nice hot tub. Very easy spot for your morning coffee and walkable for restaurants and beaches! Noisy. Upstairs neighbors TV, and train.

Air conditioner was broken in the room. The place is looking a little shabby overall.

Location The rooms have no carpets or rugs, so they need a broom and dustpan so the sand can be swept up.

Perfect location and big comfy rooms. Kind staff.

Clean, overpriced Marriott. Their policy, not to clean the room everyday, was a dealbreaker. We had to ask for towels for those days they didn’t clean.

I was also given the wrong room. I reserved and paid for a one king bed but was instead placed in a room with two queen beds. Check-in itself took approximately 15 minutes, and the overall level of service has been extremely poor. At one point, I observed staff asleep in the back, which is completely unprofessional. The conditions have made it impossible for my family to rest. I can clearly hear the people next door having sex, to the point where my bed was physically shaking from the disturbance. I had no choice but to turn the TV volume all the way up just so my children would not hear what was going on. This is beyond inappropriate and completely unacceptable for any guest, especially a family with a newborn and a 5-year-old. Additionally, the shower water pressure is extremely poor, making basic use difficult. This stay has been unsafe, unsanitary, and nowhere near what was promised. I expect a FULL reimbursement for this stay immediately. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be escalating this issue through
