It was a 2 days stay with my daughter. Hotel is in a walking distance to restaurants. I felt safe driving back to the hotel late night with my daughter. We didn't use the pool or jacuzzi. It is a very nice hotel. It is a 30 minutes drive to downtown.

Clean room with mini fridge, comfortable bed/pillows! TV connection was a little temperamental but we didn't watch much. Nice pool/hottub.
-
There is no proper maintenance.
-
They were nice and helpful. They even guided us to our room so we did not have to look for it.
-
Ridiculous to have to pay extra for a.continental breakfast after paying $170 a night. They do not offer faxing service. No business center

Standard expectation: Overall stay was good. Location is great. It an older property that's been updated. There had been a storm and when we woke up the floor by the window was wet. Looks like this was a known issue based on seeing repair attempts. There is one very slow elevator, which is almost comical. In room TV and options is very dated. One morning we could hear our neighbors "working out" but that's not on the property just be aware rooms are connected. However the hotel has quiet hours 10pm - 7am, which is why the room next to us decided to wait to "work out." Breakfast was good and only at once at the restaurant in the evening. Staff was great! Our server was energetic and professional. Overall staff is 10/10 ! The bodega market in the lobby has more than expected.

We had to change the room twice. The AC was down on a summer day and the other room actually did not lock behind you as we thought, so we asked for a different room when they were not able to fix it. The height of the rooms is pretty low, its an older building.
-
I like that you had easy access to the pool and weight room. Bar Louie couldn’t be in a better spot. And the little store they have in the lobby area had everything we needed. A bit pricey, but well worth it.

Ordered food at Bar Louie, the restaurant in the lobby. Food was great, however the service was slow. We would stay here again the next time we’re in Chicago.

Everything is beautiful There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

The free parking The website stated breakfast was free, it was not. It was 12.95 a person. Staff did not inform breakfast times, nor mention cost, did not disclose pool hours or need for a wristband or provide said wristbands. There was a used condom outside one the entrance doors. When we took a shower the tub did not drain, staff did not come until late next morning to adress it. Asked staff for additional towels, stated housekeeping would bring some and ended up grabbing towels from the pool area because housekeeping never showed up. There were exposed electrical wires for the heating and cooling unit. There were old chip bags and dirt behind the center bedside table as well and no vent fan in the bathroom.

I was very disappointed with my stay. I was celebrating my son's 13th birthday and booked two rooms. At check-in, the front desk agent placed our rooms four doors apart, which was inconvenient for our group. Both rooms only had two towels, despite there being a total of six people in our party. I requested additional towels, but they were never delivered. Throughout the night, other guests were slamming doors and banging on room doors, making it very difficult to get any sleep. On top of that, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable—I could feel the springs through it. Considering I paid over $700 per room, I expected a much higher level of service, comfort, and overall guest experience. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet those expectations.

Very unclean hallways. Not very kind night staff. Didn’t feel comfortable when communicating. Very surprised it is Holiday Inns.
-
Unpleasant stay overall.

this place was interesting

Pleasant
-
The customer service was great There was furniture stored in the room
-
They advertised in the picture that the room came with a bathtub and it didn't. That's false advertising. That made my stay very unpleasant! Also they should be serving turkey or chicken sausage options in breakfast not just pork! Do better! Customers are not the same and don't eat everything!
-
The staff provided great service and were very friendly. The room was okay, but it could benefit from a better showerhead. I also noticed a few stains on the sheets. Other than that, my stay was pleasant. My only other suggestion would be to keep the pool open a little later than 9:00 PM.

Staff was unusually accommodating and the on-site restaurant was a real plus with excellent food.
