This is an older hotel but very well maintained, with a historic look--e.g. pressed tin ceilings. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Loud generator kicking in and out every 5 seconds outside in p/l. Obviously, an issue not being dealt with, and hard to sleep. Mentioned to staff in morning and received an apologetic reply, nothing written down, so I made clear it is obviously a long standing issue that is being neglected. And received a tepid response to that comment. Not the worst hotel in our trip but very very close to the bottom.

In general, the staff were polite and helpful, and the shuttle was great. But the internet was lousy. We were there for 3 nights (not with a cruise ship) and I could connect one night with my tablet, my husband not at all with his PC. They blamed it on being full with cruise ship customers, but it seems that a hotel with a cruise company in its name should know how to solve this problem.

Beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable lobby, sitting areas and guest rooms. What a lovely hotel! Front deck staff and our dining room server were excellent; welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful!

I loved this hotel and it’s ambiance; would have loved to stay here longer and relaxed. Restaurant was great too. The hotel’s exterior appearance melded well with the architecture of surrounding buildings.

Well maintained historic property in walkable downtown. The hotel has its own restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was excellent.
