Richard was an excellent chef and story teller...His sourdough pancakes rival like no other with fruit and bacon. It will set you up for the day and sustain you until your next meal. His dogs Buddy and Burl were so sweet and wonderful greeters/companions. They did stay on the outside, but were such a sweet addition to our B&B experience. The cabin is set back in the woods and provided for a peaceful retreat after a busy day of hiking or boating/fishing. We loved our experience with Sourdough B&B and hope to stay again one day!

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed chatting with Richard and Sue over some amazing breakfast that they made every morning! Our stay was comfortable, and the room had all the amenities we needed.

The owners were awesome and it was super clean.

The Sourdough Sunrise B&B was excellent! The room was very clean and the building was beautiful. The attention to detail is amazing. Richard and Sue are very kind and the breakfast Richard makes is delicious. The location was great, not far from town and close to the Exit Glacier area. We really enjoyed our stay there and would go back again.
-
poor condition of the driveway to the B&B (lots of holes), no nightstand at one of the beds, low water pressure from the shower
-
Richards breakfast was exceptional! Really added to the overall experience of our trip! Will definitely be staying here again! Everything exceeded expectations.

Clean, comfortable, lodge built by owner, good location, good pancake breakfast.

This place was so cute! The owners were so sweet, accommodating, and made a great breakfast! The location is perfect, close to the docks for your fishing trips and cruises, and just off the road to get to exit glacier. All of the rooms were booked while we were there and it was still very nice and quiet. I would highly recommend this place for your visit to Seward!

It was a very cute property! Loved my room upstairs. The hosts were very nice! We had a nice sourdough pancake breakfast both mornings with fruit and coffee. The location was great ! It was close to Seward and Exit glacier. Nothing .

Homemade sourdough pancakes for breakfast. A common area with fridge and microwave. Beautiful location, surrounded by flowers and trees. A short drive from town and hiking, friendly hosts. Can't think of anything!

We enjoyed our stay at this B&B: beautiful cabin-like wood finishing throughout on a spacious wooded property. The breakfast of homemade sourdough pancakes was scrumptious and the owners were very friendly with good travel advice.

The hosts are wonderful and very professional. Genneral Beauregard is great, and perhaps could be helped with some eggs on the side.

The house is beautiful-we were in awe that all the woodwork was done by the owner. room was spacious for three people. beds were so comfortable. setting serene and relaxing. and,of course, breakfast was delicious! na

The place was beautiful with wild colorful flowers blooming around the building. The room was clean with lush green trees outside the windows We felt like staying in a forest. The owners Richard and Sue served us great free breakfast each morning. We enjoyed chating with them and amazed by their life story. They recommended us good places to eat and visit around the town. If you are dog lovers, there are no better place than this. Their two friendly dogs would definitely make your day. The place is located convientnly. It is only a couple of miles to get to the habor in town for the cruise or get the Exit Glacy for hiking to see gaciers up close. Good money value. Highyl recommed it. We would rent a two-bed room next time. But when we booked, they were sold out.

Friendly, very clean.

Beautiful B&B — the room and bathroom were spacious, great window. Communal area had a lovely patio looking out into the woods and mountains. Shared kitchen had all the basics needed. The owner Richard makes his famous Sourdough pancakes for you every morning, and he’s great to talk to. Great location close to Seward’s downtown. This place is a gem! Nothing — wonderful place to stay!

Everything was just too good - exceeding our expectations! The home is BEAUTIFUL! Nothing

Convenient, safe, peaceful and quiet setting. Enjoyed conversations with other guests and the owner around home cooked breakfast each morning. Proprietor's beautiful carpentry and woodworking throughout the inn. Hair/blow dryer needed replaced or cleaned. Did not work well and I was afraid to use it.

Richard made the most delicious sourdough pancakes. We had fresh fruit, bacon, and coffee every morning. Richard was a wonderful host, had great suggestions and was a great host!
