Ceiling leaking, patio light would not work, back door lock got stuck, joing room door would not lock. Parking was so close. Very outdated

I took the hotel key to the front desk clerk and informed her of the bugs, her response "Okay, I’ll tell the manager when she gets here.” She did not seem concerned or even surprised about the bed bugs. There has been no contact from the hotel manager. And yes, I did leave my number for contact. This is the third hotel (out of three…) in Pigeon Forge that we have had poor experiences with.

Great place for the price! Was concerned about noise because of the road but room was nice and quiet! Heard nothing. View out back was very nice. Room was clean, hot water in the shower! Staff was great! Very pleasant

While room dated and a little worn down they were clean and bed was good. A very good deal

Clean room friendly staff

Was an older room with a beautiful view. Didn’t have a clock or hair dryer even. We stayed two nights. The view kept me happy. It’s just an older place. It is pretty comfortable and very clean though.

This is a very clean, well maintained basic hotel. The room was clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. You couldn’t beat the price for the facility. Great basic hotel for low key stay.
-
The room was very clean. The lady at the front desk is very helpful. Whatever I need they went and got it for me and brought it to my room. We had a balcony room and it was very nice to have a balcony. He also had an elevator to get on different floors. That was also helpful.

Coffee pot was broken, bathroom floor was filthy; urine on floor around base of commode. No continental breakfast. We will go elsewhere next time.

Arrived around 11:30pm after a long day of traveling and wasn't able to check into my room. The key fob to my room was not working and I returned to the front desk twice to see about getting it fixed with no solution given. I ended up having to call up another hotel to get a room for the evening as I don't think I would have been able to get into my room at this hotel.

It’s on the river and there’s ducks to feed, real peaceful. You could also fish and there’s a near by walkway by the river. Only one elevator, pool is on the small side, parking is not enough for a 4 story hotel, people in the office are nice.

It was a nice stay.

Good for familys with kid ; to play in the pool .. lots of parking places . Restaurant are in walking distance.
-
I think that photos of the property were fake, the size of the pool was a joke, the view to the river was bad. Overall poorly maintained and bad smell in the room. The staff was very kind, friendly and she dress nicely.

Hope you don’t want clean bedding or towels. You will be told you have to wait until the morning when house keeping gets there. And no one will do anything about it.
-
If only people would abide by the no smoking rule ! There were young couple next to us that were smoking pot out on the balcony:( another 2 older gentlemen were out in back by the ducks smoking their cigarettes… WHY CANT PROPLE BE RESPECTFULLY!! Other than not being able to enjoy our balcony due to smokers , it was fine . The housekeeping was always there knocking to see if we needed anything .. DONT FORGET GO TIP THR HOUSEKEEPERS ! They work hard to keep things clean

While the Riverview claims to be pet friendly, you cannot leave your pet in your room even in its kennel when you aren't there. This place is 1970's old but decent. It was fairly clean if you don't mind drain flies flying out of the sink drain every time you run water. The staff attempted to help by spraying LYSOL in the sink, they tried to tell us it was gnats coming in from the balcony when the balcony door hadn't been opened, at all. As a plus, the beds were clean, plenty of clean towels if you asked. Would not ever under any circumstances stay here again. Staff was friendly but insulted our intelligence by calling the drain flies gnats. I'm from Alabama & I'm fairly good on ID'ing insects. Think twice before you book at this old, dreary, dismal place.

Very clean room. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Motel is somewhat older but is still very nice

Honestly, my wife and I didn't stay our 1 night. Staff are very friendly; however, the rooms need updating. Lost my money for our stay because I agreed to your no refund policy when booking. Live and learn on my part. Apologies for the negative review.

On check in, the front desk staff helped to ensure I was close to the elevator due to health conditions. This was especially helpful. Dogs are welcome but are not supposed to stay alone. Make sure to have alternate arrangements available.
