Comfort Inn Chicago Schaumburg - O'Hare Airport

Stayed here with my family 4 days 3 nights. 2 adults 2 children. Check-in was seamless. We booked one room two double beds. Room was not the cleanest, refrigerator was nasty, shower had all types of long strands of hair in it and there appeared to be boogers on the shower wall…the toilet clogged every flush and when we called about it, we were told housekeeping wouldn’t be in until 7:00 am the next morning. By 8:00 am the next day still no resolve so we went down to express our concerns they said maintenance would be up there shortly. We went back up and they ended up calling saying that they reassigned our room. The new room wasn’t any cleaner as if it hadn’t been used in months. The shower handle didn’t stay in position so it drifted to scolding hot over time. While we were getting breakfast one morning there was a guy in the lobby talking to a police officer because his car had been stolen from the parking lot. In conclusion it had a cheaper price point than surrounding hotels but if I had to do it over again, I would NOT stay here nor recommend.

Hotel had seen some upgrades but looked like it could use some more. Included breakfast with a nice breakfast seating area. Good location close to shopping and restaurants.

During check-out, the receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional. The shuttle driver was also very rude. This made the end of my stay a very unpleasant experience.

The pool was dirty. The time if the pool close to early. And looked like there was a family living there .

My big complaint: this is a non smoking hotel. I picked it purposely for this reason. There was someone smoking dope both days of our stay and it was in the lobby, halls and our room intermittently.

Value for money. Would recommend 100%

Room keys did not work had to go to main desk. Bed was on a high pedestal and extremely uncomfortable.

Nice for a good nights rest

Overall the stay was an 8/10 mainly because some amenities were not available at the time of stay. I would stay here again, there is a lot of places around the area as well.

Arriving on the property checking into the room. My TV never worked throughout the whole two-night stay. The bathroom wasn't clean properly. Dust and hair was behind door leftover hair appeared in the tub. Therefore the hygiene or cleanliness in the bathroom was poor.

The facility is clean. Only the pool seems not that clean. I see floating hairs while swimming and seems water not been changed. I requested to clean my room but nobody came despite I removed the do not disturb sign before going out for shopping. Overall, I like the cleanliness.

Staff is very kind. My wife and I were stranded in Chicago on a connecting flight and having trouble finding a hotel for the night. The hotel was full but the staff was kind enough to find a spot for us still.

Hall way carpet was dirty and smell a little, the pool was dirty and had the water sitting so I called the front desk for them to take a look at it and turn on the motor, guy said the it will be a little while, so we left.

Exceptional

The hotel is in immediate need of renovation. Room furniture was not good. The vanity was in very bad shape. All the furniture in the room was destroyed. Other than the room in bad condition the hotel main lobby is good. The staff was kind and helpful.

I loved the location and the price was not bad Lady at the front desk was always on her phone and never greeted us, not welcoming which left a bad taste in our mouth as soon as we got there. First floor was air conditioned but the upper levels/hallways were not. Bedding had stains all over them and rooms weren’t the cleanest. I feel like we got what we paid for

Third time staying here. Breakfast was great and used the laundry for the first time.
