Winsor Hotel

Good for this price. Much better than same value hotels

The Winsor Hotel is beautiful on the inside. And what a masterful job has been done so everything feels and looks fresh and new and first-class, while retaining the old-world charm of San Francisco. I say thank you.

It can get loud at night outside—bring your earplugs. Otherwise clean. Bed is okay.

I got robbed on the way to the hotel.

It's SF - if you've ever been and know downtown Tenderloin District - it's not the best location, BUT, having said that, this building is quite clean. Once you get in, it's quiet. The hallways are clean. The room was basic, what else do you need? Clean hardwood floors, bed and sink with TV. I was uneasy about the shared bathrooms, but there are two showers and two toilets on each floor - both well maintained and cleaned. I had no issues at all. The purpose of SF, is to leave and explore so I was only there for the sleep each night. I would book it again - check in was easy and the staff were really friendly. If you're looking for clean accommodation downtown and priced well - this is your place!

Location is excellent. Be ready for agglomeration of homeless right there by the hotel door.

Very Responsive Staff, Very clean and functional interior. Location in the Tenderloin. Lot's of homeless addicts and drug use in the surrounding area.

Staff was wonderful. My room was a little bit delayed getting ready, but the fix was very quick. I liked that the room was safely away from the main areas. It's as clean as 100 year old buildings can be in SF. Some minor spots of concern, but good air quality, no mold, etc. Its the best stay than any hotel you can get on 6th, certainly. Great for the price and in a pinch, as I had to reassign last minute. While the location isn't great, it's only a few steps away from Market, so as long as you use Market and not continue going down 6th to get anywhere, it's safe. 6th Street has the homeless shelter, which makes it the street and onward for a lot of homeless to congregate. As long as you're polite and mind your own business, they mind their own business as well. But as a result, nights are noisy, and the area is concerning.

Needed a place to stay that was reasonably priced. Staff was great and the room and facilities were clean, well lit, and maintained. The drug addled vagrants who were encamped outside the door was not a good situation. Rooms are dorm style which is alright if you’re used to that setup. No A/C and because of the vagrants there was non-stop sirens, music, and shouting from the street four stories below.

Very filthy neighbourhood

また、4泊したが、最安値で宿泊しているということで、掃除もタオルの交換も、一度もしてうれなかった。して欲しいと言うと、20ドル払えと言われた。 シャワーは非常に低温で、暖かくなるまで随分時間がかかるが、日によっては5分待っても真夏の屋外のプールのシャワー程度の温度にしかならなかった。 サンフランシスコに数年に一回、もう20年以上来ているが、こんな宿は初めてでした。

For the price it was a good hotel and my stay was fine. The neighborhood is pretty rough out on the street but no one ever bothered me. The location is nice for getting around downtown.

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, this place is perfect. Everything was clean, quiet, and comfortable — exactly what you need for a pleasant stay There are many homeless people in the area, but this is clearly a city-wide issue, not related to the hotel itself. The responsibility lies with the local authorities, not the property

Staff No warm water or heating on first day.

Horrible!!

It's located in a part of SF with homeless people everywhere. We didn't realize there are not bathrooms in the room...This is a hostel more than a hotel. I didn't shower because I didn't know where it was, but luckily the shared toilet is just down the hall. I was locked outside at 3am for over an hour because I couldn't get inside. I wasn't told the scan the key outside above the door to open it after 12am. The rest of the time we were told to buzz in and be let in. I tried calling to be let in and no one answered. Homeless people on drugs were screaming all night outside my window. Saving grace is that the room was clean and the man at the front desk was very nice, but I would never in a million years step foot in here again.
