We enjoyed staying in this hotel, which has an antique charm with modern conveniences. Our room was large and comfortable: the bed was great and it was quiet. It could have used one more chair. The products in the bathroom were top notch (L’Occitane). The free breakfast was very good. And we liked the location, close to Dragon’s Gate in Chinatown and accessible to public transportation. We’d definitely stay there again.

The place is pretty sparse on amenities; but the rooms are updated fairly well. They charge for a room cleaning, which is unfortunate. My husband was sick, and it was going to cost us $40 to get fresh sheets after a night of fever sweats. The contactless check-in process is a bit clunky - a spouse or family member cannot check-in if their name is not on the reservation. The halls were quite musty, and mixed with the scent of ammonia and other cleaning chemicals. But we had no issues with the cleanliness of the rooms overall - more dust than I would expected...but it's an old hotel. Overall it's a fine budget stay, but I wouldn't seek the place out.

This is an older property that has been renovated in many areas. The room was clean but the bad was well worn. The check in is at a kiosk which was very impersonal and the man at the desk wasn't overly helpful or friendly. All other staff were very nice.

I liked that most guests are European and well traveled! Also very culturally diverse!

The rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a different variety of food offered each day, which made it enjoyable throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to San Francisco.

I would not stay here again

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was easy to get towels, etc and they answered all questions. They seemed very genuine. The breakfast was good, kind of limited but hot and what there was, was filling. The room was nice, very clean, and the ac worked great. A bit more fresh variety for breakfast would be nice, but its more just a mention than a complaint.

The bathroom was a lil hard to maneuver around in the sun the door was and where the sink was That was my only dislike of this property

The location is excellent, the breakfast is good and the staff are great. The bathroom is so small.

Location was perfect. Close to everything and all transport options. The hotel was surprisingly better than we thought. Cosy nice feel to it. Reception is cute and a nice place to chill. Fruit infused water available 24/7. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were on the 6th floor and at the front of the property. Lifts worked so that was good! Road was a quiet one way road but did have quite a bit of traffic and cars. Not so much people noise. Room was very big and had 2 double beds. Wardrobe, safe and a fridge with a TV. Didn't have any drawers for your stuff. It had a desk/make up table and a shower toilet area. Great hotel although our only negatives are the noise of the air conditioning unit, traffic noise and the light from the windows. We needed ear plugs (which the hotel actually supplied in your drawers) it seems quite common with these hotels to have noise. Breakfast was included. Different eggs every other day along with sausages and bacon but on a every other day basis. It has 1 or 2 pastry options plus cereal and coffee/tea. The hash browns were like rocks (I liked them like that but my family didn't) Coffee was horrible. But the beanstalk cafe a couple of doors up for some lovely coffee! Lots of eateries walkable as well as china town, union square all on your doorstep. We walked majority of San Francisco from here. Even up to Filmore and Fisherman's wharf. We would come back here.

Nothing They over charge me without my authorization, after taking the money , they said its for security reasons and we will return the money back after 1 week. WITHOUT ANY AUTHORIZATION FROM MY SIDE
