The noise on the street in the middle of the night was a lot, although not the hotels fault. Street racers and revving engines.

You can see into Petco park. Beautiful view. Beautiful tub. Beautiful fridge & stove $70 parking then still had to drive to conference center & pay to park. No charging receptacle for phone in room..I left the full charger in the car because who doesn’t have a charging port in their room nowadays..so then I needed to tip the valet to get my charger. Bring money to tip..no one will have change. Booking.com said breakfast included. There is no breakfast.

Friendliness Tv not working, dryer, washer not working, no air conditioning working.

New and clean and the location We stayed 3 days and never resolved our issue with the TV and ended up with no TV for the entirety of the stay, the staff did nothing to remedy this. I had to ask for fresh linens

Central, decently cute We were there for 3 nights they only cleaned our room once. Not in a great area of town, lots of homelessness around

All great but the washer dryer thing e All great but the washer/ dryer combo was either hard to use or needed 2-3 cycles of 2-2.5 hours each. Never actually got the clothes dry.

G.M., Paul was awesome! As well as the staff. Rooftop was an excellent feature. Valet parking was very expensive.

The lobby (and occasionally the elevator) always smelled like cigarette or cigar smoke. The tv didn’t work and no maid came with clean towels or to make the bed.

The hotel is in a great location and is walkable to nearby restaurants, bars, and other venues. The rooms are modern and well-appointed. It is convenient having a kitchen and washer/dryer in the room. There is only $70 nightly valet parking. Alternative is searching for a surrounding public lot that has 24 hour parking which can be difficult, especially if events are behind held nearby. Street parking is only 2 hours max until 8PM. There was also some issues with transitioning owners from Sentral Gaslamp to The Margot by Hilton which happened during the week leading up to my reservation. My pre-payment through Booking.com was unable to be seen at check-in, so I had to charge the stay again and now have to go through Booking.com customer service to obtain a refund.

It was easy to get to, and had lots of great spots in walking distance. Coffee, the stadium, great restaurants and lots of cool bars. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were great. My room was facing another set of rooms, so it didn’t give much privacy. The bathroom was the only minor complaint. It could have been a bit cleaner, and the floors could use a good sweep. Other than that, it was really great. The price for two days was a bit much for the lack of some things. But I would stay again.

The property was elegant, spatious and perfectly situated in a charming neighborhood, within easy reach of major attractions and a conveniently located, well-stocked grocery store. The front desk team was exceptionally helpful, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay.

The location

Location was prime, close to ballfield. I think you (Booking.com) messed up. The "deluxe room" I paid for was changed to a premium room when I arrived. I had to pay an additional $500 to get what I thought I was paying for to begin with.
