Motel 6 San Diego, CA - North

The room satisfied our need for a need to sleep in and a bathroom to shower. However, when we walked into the room, the floor was sticky. It seemed clean but I didn’t want to walk on it without shoes. The bed was hard and the pillows were very soft with virtually no filling. My bath wash cloth had blood stains on it. No shampoo/conditioner provided. I would not recommend going to this Motel 6.

It was ok. The staff was friendly, and the room was decent for a motel, but there were things like broken toilets and locks that could have been improved.

Me and my partner stayed there for two nights just for the weekend and it was super clean and super affordable! Safe area and a short drive to downtown :) it was perfect!

Good for sleep.. is all.

Café menos cucarachas

Little Requested a handicap room was given standard,so couldn't shower, req pillows nvr recieved, a/c barely if ever worked sw mgr 4x no real help..wasn't resolved.He came to room unplugged a/c plugged back in He sd wl reset it didnt.and tht was 6 to 8 hours after multiple requests. Reminded following day still no action or response.

The room was awful. The smell of cleaning chemicals was overwhelming. The place is old and run down.

It was pretty noisy and it was hard to sleep.

The TV didn't work. I called and they said they would call the cable company but nothing was done.

I stayed here back to back stays - 1 room for 1 night and a second room for a 2nd night. Positives: room was clean and staff was friendly. I stayed in the back section of the hotel that faces a trail and the highway. There were a lot of sketchy people drinking and doing drugs open in the property. My room was a nonsmoking room but totally reeked of cigarettes. The room next door was open with dogs running in and out barking and people were doing drugs and smoking weed from the doorway with trash piled outside their door. A lot of people were coming by constantly talking outside and unclear if they were dealing drugs or people were just coming to the room to do drugs. Some looked homeless and beat up. Another couple was drinking straight vodka from a bottle blocking the steps. Homeless people in the parking lot. Definitely not a place you want to bring your kids - I was there by myself and double locked my door but the crowd was unpleasant. Managers need to clean the behaviour and crowd up. If you do stay - request a room facing the parking lot as the back section is nasty.

Space

It was clean, staff were nice but there was so much dog poo outside.

What do you want for $200. Sheets were stained, loud AC, bath tub was gross. At least there was a new sink!
