No parking!!!

The room was clean friendly helpful staff love the location!! Go to place for us in San Diego!
-
Ice machine was broken. Hallway carpet needs washing or change. My room had no AC or regular air. It was hot.
-
I couldn’t get an extra pillow at night because staff didn’t have key and alarms went off late at night

Check in process was fast, the staff was friendly & helpful. The overall stay was horrible though! The hallway leading to the room smelt like urine & rotten garage. Once i entered the room it smelt worse than it did in the hallway just with reek of cigarette smoke, the sink was clogged, the shower didn’t have a cold setting, the window couldn’t open more than 3 inches, the AC was full of dust & barely worked . Parking was full & i needed to park in a separate lot which thank god nothing happened. I went to an event at waterfront park which was a 10-15 minute walk. The motel is conveniently close by & the walk there didn’t feel unsafe at all. When getting back to the room around 11:30pm, the room next door & floor above was so noisy. I fell asleep around 12:30am & around 1-2am woke up to alarms ringing . They stayed on for about 20 mins THEN around 7am woke up to nonstop barking. The entire stay was a horrible experience, all rooms were fully booked. I regret i booked a room at this location.

I was not impressed with this establishment aside from the pleasant staff. The rooms were dirty, dirt on the stained floors and on the bed, of which was very uncomfortable. The doors and windows have cracks. There was something on the bathroom walls over the shower. The carpet in the hallways were filthy with stains, oil, gum, the parking lot was littered with trash, broken bottles, and there were homeless people asleep in cars in the parking lot. There were no amenities, ice machine was broken and the hair dryer was not connected to the wall. There were no other amenities that I am aware of besides a bar of soap to wash hands, and nearly not enough towels provided. We had to get our key replaced a few times. For the price we paid, I would have been fine camping. Im sorry, I usually keep things to myself, but staying there really took away from our short getaway.

I would not stay here again
-
Location was great with walking distance of restaurants
-
I wouldn’t ever stay here unless it’s a past minute but even then it’s cheaper and better just to commute 20mins outside of downtown. Mold, Air conditioner didn’t work, moved me rooms into moldy room and the mattress was extremely old and filthy

This motel is located in San Diego, California. It is easily accessible by vehicles or walking. There is a series of rooms located on all floors, with an elevator for those who wish to not take the stairs. My room came complete with a bed and TV. I also enjoyed running water and a toilet. Smoking is prohibited. I found the staff most helpful and courteous. The tenants were also pleasant, for the most part, with the exception of a woman who looked at me with suspicion, as if she thought I was about to attack her.

Front desk receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. Need more parking.

My experience at your motel was disappointing. The carpet in my room was dirty and had several unpleasant-looking stains. In addition, there were individuals loitering in the hallways and near the entrance, which made me feel uncomfortable and concerned about my safety. Overall, the condition of the property and the atmosphere did not meet my expectations. It certainly did not reflect the standards or quality portrayed in your advertising.

wasn't very clean, but bed was fine. Staff nice.
-
Stains on the floor, burn marks in the bed, windows that don’t even close. Management that won’t even address or speak to customers. Save yourself the awful headache of dealing with this horrid establishment.

This property was terrible, they lie about amenities, the staff is so rude and unprofessional, the place is dirty and not what is advertised on the Expedia website! Third time this has happened booking through Expedia

Horrible customer service. Arrived late evening and front desk informed me that another employee canceled my reservation because it was not prepaid and was unable to help me. She said he does this all the time and has been told to stop doing it but continues to still do it. That is poor management as well to continue to allow an employee to behave that way. Needless to say, I did not stay there and found another hotel.

To say that it was dirty would be an understatement. The windows were so dirty that you couldn’t see out of them. The bathroom was so dirty with faucets hanging off, so badly that I refused to use them. The doors didn’t close, the ceiling was falling down; I dared not touch the TV remote in case I caught something. The bed linen was from world war 2, I would be surprised if they had been cleaned, definitely hadn’t been ironed. I slept on-top of them as I didn’t want to see what was in the Victorian era bed. This was not subjected to one room, I did look to change room immediately after seeing my room, and to my amazement the other rooms were equally as bad. The staff couldn’t understand what my issues were. The reception, lift, communal areas all looked like they had never been cleaned, all covered with stains. I thought it was amusing that there was a spider who had built a web on the front desk, and no one seemed interested. Come time of check out, the receptionist was asleep on the desk, so I said goodbye and left my room card but there was no response. In hindsight I should have checked to see she was alive and hadn’t succumbed to poisoning from the hotel. I honestly think I would prefer solidarity confinement in prison than to have to stay in this place again. Easily the worst place I have ever been to or stayed at. All other hotels were full!

Roach infested. Smells unpleasantly. Dirty.
-
My only concern is the condition of the property itself. Motel 6 corporate should invest in updating and maintaining the hotel, as the carpets and walls are noticeably worn. The staff works hard to provide a great guest experience, and the property’s condition does not reflect the quality of service they deliver. With some renovations and upkeep, this location could be exceptional.
