The housekeeping could use some improvement, they forgot the wet towels in the room. The breakfast had a variety of foods and was good. The front desk was helpful in storing luggage.

I appreciate the luggage storage for people who have early flights and cannot check-in until 4 PM. This allows guest to go about their day without having to lug their suitcases around the city. The breakfast was basic but it cut out the need to search around for a breakfast spot, especially when you have a pretty packed day. The location of the hotel was not my favorite. It was literally at the top of the hill. If you are taking public transportation, then guests have to trek back up a steep hill every time they need to return to the hotel. A few things that were off-putting about the hotel was it’s really slow elevator, the lack of counter-space in the bathroom, and the toilet was American standard toilet that you normally see at public restrooms. The toilet is really low to the to the floor. If you have bad knees, then good luck! I didn’t really take advantage of any of the amenities like the workout room or laundry. Unfortunately, the pool is closed until the end of July. I like getting free bottled water each day. Overall, the stay was comfortable, and I would recommend it to somebody looking for an affordable hotel with breakfast included.

Breakfast was good although repetitive. Disappointed the pool was out of use due to renovations. Good central location.

Had some issues with the cleanliness of my room upon arrival. The rooms supervisor took action right away and made it right, which improved the experience.

It has the oddest set up I’ve ever seen. You enter the building from the street sidewalk-walk up a ramp that is not clear where the reception/entrance is at, as it is completely hidden from the street view on the 2nd floor! Hotel is clean but everything is on separate floors, confusing to say the least. The neighborhood feels off-devoid of life except homeless people. It’s clean but not my first pick if I return to San Diego-especially when i paid $350 to stay in a very small mediocre room.

Great stay with family of four! Stayed in a room with patio which was great! So far , they serves the best breakfast from all the hotels with breakfast we've been to. Easy access to everything! Definitely will stay again!

A great location, close to everything but not chaotic. One of the best breakfast offerings at a hotel that I have seen in a long time and the food was very fresh and tasty. A really nice way to start the day. Parking is a bit of a hassle- I suggest you prepay with your reservation, you will save $. One thing no one told us is that you need your key to get out of the parking garage. I had turned in my keys at checkout and was stuck! No gate attendant present, but luckily and other hotel guest happened by while I was trying to get out and allowed me the use of their key. A very important thing that guests need to be aware of, disappointed that no one mentioned that to us at check out! Other than that, a great stress-free stay.
