The front desk staff made a great first impression. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained, although it felt a bit small. We were assigned a room overlooking the bayside parking lot. Since we checked in during the middle of the week and the resort didn't appear to be very busy—especially the waterfront rooms—I do wish we had been offered the option to upgrade. We likely would have taken it, as the parking lot view wasn't ideal. There was quite a bit of vehicle traffic, and we also noticed several individuals spending time in the parking area, which took away from the overall atmosphere. We had dinner at the Boathouse restaurant one evening. The dinner menu was fairly limited, and while the service was good, we felt the pricing was high for the quality of the food. Our meal, which included crab cakes and a steak, came to well over $100 and didn't feel like a great value. The pool area was nice, with plenty of towels available, and the pool bar attendant was very friendly. The recreation staff stopped by to host games while we were there. Although they didn't seem particularly enthusiastic, they were kind, and we still had a fun time participating. One of the biggest advantages of the resort is its location. It's an easy walk to several restaurants, coffe

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge was very attentive and made excellent suggestions. The front desk was very pleasant. The cabanas on the beach were super comfortable. I enjoyed reading my book and fell asleep on them a couple of times. The only suggestion for improvement I have is that they needed more trash cans on the beach.

The Bahia Resort met my expectations. I wanted something private and on a beach. This property offered both amenities with the added bonus of a bar on the beach. The option to add activities to the reservation also made it feel special. We opted for the fire pit (booked through a separate company). Also enjoyed some pool time, beach time in both chairs and cabanas and enjoyed nightly drinks at Dockside. Shoutout to Kevin, Miss K, Bubbles and Billie! Great drinks and conversations.

Had to swear shoes in the room as carpet was sticky and the cockroaches plentiful. Gross room. Filthy sheets. Moldy bathroom. This room is right out of horror movie. But the location and beach are nice.

This is a beautiful place. Our room was spacious and overlooked the bay. We enjoyed the large patio outside our room. The only drawback was the delivery trucks that were very loud right outside our room at 5:55, waking us up way too early. Considering that we paid a premium for bayside view and studio room, I’m not sure that I would stay here again.
