La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham San Antonio At The Rim

My vehicle was broken in to along with several other vechiles over this past weekend. Camera knocked off the wall and the hotel staff refused to review the video tape or share it so we could take it to the police. After calling the police to file the report for the break in with several other guest as well the hotel staff on duty still refused to cooperate with the police to review the footage and the footage of the camera that wasn't destroyed.

Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Take your own pillow if you like a certain firmness. Breakfast was very yummy and generous.

Was a nice room a little small but clean I had a good experience other than the bedsheets continuing to slip off everything else was clean

If I could give zero stars, I would. Multiple cars in the hotel parking lot were broken into overnight, including mine. We woke up to smashed windows, stolen belongings, and glass scattered everywhere. The most disturbing part was the hotel staff’s response, especially the front desk employee, who was rude, dismissive, and laughed while guests reported that their vehicles had been vandalized. That level of disrespect and lack of basic human decency is unacceptable. This hotel clearly does not prioritize guest safety or care when serious incidents happen. Stay somewhere else.

The hotel is nice and in an excellent location. The only issue we had was that the elevators were out of service during our stay.

Location Room was extremely noisy late into the night. Sounded like furniture was being rearranged, people running around and talking loudly. Had to call the front desk multiple times to report the noise

Traveled to see our nephew graduate from military basic training. The bed itself was the star of the show, we had some of the best sleep ever. To be honest, the bed is worth booking a room, alone. The hotel is still new with being under 2 years old. We felt very secure within the area and surrounding areas, with it being very walkable. The lobby and hotel overall was very clean. The breakfast was a decent arrangement of options for a normal continental breakfast with fruit, eggs, juice, yogurt, etc. Unfortunately we weren't able to fully enjoy the breakfast due to it being limited to only pork/beef options. I would highly recommend to add a turkey option as an alternative (sausage or bacon) for those that don't eat pork or beef.

It was like brand new everything was very clean. The staff was real nice. The breakfast was good. Everything was good except for one exception the elevators made a loud noise, going up and down kind of scary thinking they were gonna break down. As a matter of fact, one was broken and only the other one was running the morning when we got ready to leave to go to Six Flags, the elevators were both broken. We were on the fourth floor. I’m 71 years old with a knee replacement get around pretty good, but it was pretty rough going down four flights of stairs. Thankfully, they were up and running when we got back or we were gonna have to do something because there was no way I was gonna make it up for flights upstairs after walking Six Flags all day, which was the main purpose of our stay there because it’s very close to Six Flags. Other than that, everything was great.

I decided to try La Quinta by Wyndam at the Rim and was pleasantly surprised. This is my new go to place for business travel to my home office in San Antonio because the room had everything I needed (comfortable clean bed and pillows), the price was right, free breakfast met my needs, and they didn't charge for parking. Next time I stay, I will make it a point to visit their exercise room and pool. I'm really pleased with my choice for this visit. Way to go La Quinta! I usually would not have selected your property. I'm glad I did this time.

Location Shower head was broken, & lights went out 3 times.

Keys didn’t work so we had to do extra stairs to get new keys. Location was good and bed comfortable.

Elevators were out of order. When I asked the receptionist when they will be working, because I have a bad knee and it was hard for me to use the stairs and carry my luggage up and down and use the stairs each time I needed to leave the hotel to go anywhere. His answer was "I cant get a hold of anybody to come fix it" really? A Hotel with nobody on call to come fix it. That's very poor service. I could not go to another hotel because I would loose my money so I had no choice but stay there. I am a very dissatisfied customer.
