Hampton Inn San Antonio-Downtown (River Walk)

The staff was nice but the toilet needs maintenance.

It’s a good hotel for the price and area.

Good location close to The Riverwalk. Most staff were friendly with the exception of one night desk clerk. The fridge in our room was frosted over and didn’t work. The safe was locked upon arrival and there was no iron. Staff quickly remedied once we alerted them. Good value for room prices. There is a gated parking area but daily parking rate on their lots is pricey.

Iron did not work and ended up calling front desk and they brought one but that did not work either. The water was leaking

Breakfast was really good

Facility was a little run down , our toilet didn’t work (always running and had to pop top ) for it to flush. The staff acted miserable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back soon. The only thing we had an issue with was parking.

The staff was great and always helpful. The hotel was very clean and the food at the breakfast was great. My only negatives would be the comfort of the bed and pillows. Flat. Not the best but we would stay again if we had to.

It was so humid in the hotel that the floor was wet and carpet was moist. They didn’t have towels and gave us the excuse the hotel was sold out. They didn’t clean our room the whole 4 days we were there.

Room was spacious and clean! And breakfast was good too!Staff was also very friendly and attentive.

Ik really liked the breakfast and the friendly staff. The rooms however, were clean but musty, no chance to open a window and all of our clothe4s were clammy after one week. The loundry room needed an app to be able to work the washing machine, I would have preferred to just buy tokens or have the charges charged to my room. The location was awesome. Musty rooms, lots of plastic cutlery, maybe something more ecologically friendly would have bene nice as cutlery.

Charles, the front desk person was absolutely awesome...

Rooms were dirty I asked a housekeeping staff if she could throw away a little bag of trash & she pointed to go throw it downstairs. Ver my horrible experience overall

Everything was excellent! Great staff and environment. Breakfast was good too, had a little more variety than most hotels.
