Bed in #5 is lumpy and needs to be replaced. Everything else was great as usual.

Great value, great location, great staff

You couldn’t ask for a better location. There are a few restaurants and tons of shops within a couple blocks. Parking is mostly on street, but there was plenty of it. We had a suite. The bed was comfortable but very low to the ground. (If you have hip or knee problems you might need help getting up.) The room had a full kitchen and couch. They have a beautiful pool and mature landscaping. If you have fancy pants you’ll call it dated. But we thought it was WAY better than the Hilton we stayed at the night before.

Clean room and pool. The staff was great.

Liked the room size but could have used a a dresser for clothes. Refrigerator had a problem cooling. Overall I liked the location. It was close to shops, restaurants, and the pier. Would stay again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations because it has that boutique feel and the location is amazing. This is not a brand new state of the art hotel but it is a vintage-style treasure that my daughter and I enjoyed it greatly for a short, father daughter trip. Close to shops and only about a 10-15 minute walk to the lighthouse. Perfect for what we were looking for.

This is a boutique traditional hotel perfectly situated in the village. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable.

Since we had paid our two-day fee in advance, we have not been reimbursed for the second night even though the hotel staff notified us that they filed the 'faulty a/c complaint' as an acceptable reason for a partial refund of fees paid to Expedia.

Great location and good value. Classic, vintage hotel.

I’ve stayed at the hotel many times in the past. It’s been probably 20 years since my last stay. They have upgraded the rooms a bit. Comfy bed. Love having microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. Love being in the village so I can walk to my favorite restaurants and bars.

This is our perfect spot. Reasonable price allows us to return frequently through the year. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, pier, etc., so no driving. Beach access points within a half mile. Great accommodating staff!

The room was very clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable. We loved how they leaned into the age and style of the hotel with vintage “looking” appliances. Had plenty of towels and toiletries. The property is full of charm with a nice pool and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs around it. It looked great in the evening with the rope lights on over the pool. You can’t beat the giant live oaks that are all over the property as well. If you don’t care about staying right on the beach, but want to check out the shops, restaurants, and the pier, you can’t beat it. The price was great as well compared to other places I looked at around the island. Will definitely stay there again.

Location was great. Room very tiny and musty
-
Room was very clean is an old hotel but rooms are updated the bed was very soft and comfortable the hotel is right in the center of all the shops and restaurants no need to drive most things was in walking distance.
-
Great location. Room 5 is really small but easy check in.
-
Its location is great, close to pier , shops, dining, gas station. Most of the things are in waking distance. Free parking.
-
We loved everything except the bed. The mattress was so hard. Other than that, everything was clean, well cared for and all around enjoyable.

Location is great if you plan on walking every where. Parking is very limited, and very hard to get in and out of. Hotel maybe has 10 parking spot total. If you do not get a spot in the back of the hotel you have to park in the front public where traffic is always backed up due to red light and sight is very limited. It was one of those hope and pray nothings coming situations. On our last day we were awoken by beating and banging at 2:00 in the morning, found out cops were trying to get into a room. There is no hotel staff after 9:00 pm. Needless to say we were up and left the hotel at 3:00 in the morning. Other than that our room was clean and comfortable. Only room complaint is there was a constant light outside both windows so we couldn’t tell if it was still dark or morning light shining through. Unfortunately I will not be going back.

Lots of space! A/C works great! Only one bath for a room that sleeps 4-5 but the character of the place keeps it charming and makes up for that. Perfect location!
