Secondly, I asked for a wine key to uncork the wine that I brought, and they told me to walk down to the restaurant and have them do it. What kind of service is this? The room wasn’t exactly cheap. Very disappointing.
-
The property is dated. The bathroom appeared to have toothpaste splattered on the wallpaper. The staff were friendly and there was nice soap/shampoo.
-
Nice hotel for a quick stay, location was convenient parking was $50/night and you got a hotel credit for breakfast so it evened out. It was downtown so quick access to the highway
-
Nice hotel, bar/resturant we're great but valet had many issues. They didn't lock my car overnight and then took 30 min to bring my car in the morning. Also shower takes 10 minutes to heat up FYI

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Amazing for the price we paid. Nice little 10 min walk to Golden One as we were there for a concert. If you’re using valet, it can be a little hectic and confusing if it’s your first time and multiple folks are checking in. That said, just pull aside as much as you can and put on your hazards. Again, this was a great hotel for what we paid, staff was nice. Many options to grab food from just within a couple of minutes walk. There’s also a nice coffee shop near the corner.

Exceptional

Based on numerous other stays in Autograph hotels, this was somewhat underwhelming. Suite on small & slightly shabby side, but comes with older, urban properties. The shower was problematic--steep climb into tub felt unsafe, too high of water pressure that stung our faces and over-sprayed on floor & toilet, and slow drain left us standing in 5-6 in of water after 5 min. Staff were great as was adjacent restaurant.

We had the most wonderful after concert cocktail in the lounge, the collection of high end spirits was amazing!

But what guests can't live with is a lack of hot water, a basic ammenity that even Motel 6 can provide. Not here though. And what guests don't want to put with are lame excuses: "Oh we're completely booked", " we're a small hotel", and "maintenance said the water is hot". Yeah, maintenance came up and afrer running it for nearly 10 munutes they said it wasn't hot. Tepid at best. Was the problem fixed? No. However they waived the parking charge of $50. That's for one night btw. I would have preferred hot water. Upon checkout was that parking waiver honored? NOPE. The manager Mickey didn't bother to read the notes before closing out the bill and presented the guest with a parking charge of $50. Ooops. Fortunately the front desk girl showed the manager how to do his job and the correction was made. Never again.

Disappointing
-
Not the greatest area. Attached restaurant had very poor service
-
Loved the bartenders Alex and the girl whose name I can’t remember, very friendly nice and made our stay amazing
-
Loved this unique hotel!
-
The room was clean but not 5 star clean. There was dust on the desk and one of the shower bottles had the adhesive fail all on its own. Keep in mind thus is a historic hotel....so pretty and cool, but there is no pool which is a little sad for a hotel in Sacramento.

The front desk was great
-
The hotel itself was lovely .. but when I pulled up outside, there was garbage everywhere that. I one bothered to sweep up.. it really set a bad tone to see no one cared.. the $25 voucher in the wonderful restaurant downstairs was a great bonus! Room was clean and very nice

Beautiful historic hotel with many original details preserved This hotel should have bathrobes!
