Motel 6 Sacramento, CA - South Sacramento & Elk Grove

Typical for a motel six. The property is gated, which helps keeping the riffraff out and adds a little sense of security. Our room was missing the remote control to the TV, so we had to change channels and power the TV off manually. Otherwise the rest of the room was typical of motel six. You get what you pay for at Motel 6 but I’ve definitely been in worse.

I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and motels all across America, but this has to be the dirtiest one by far. The bathroom was disgusting — there were hairs stuck all over the walls and inside the bathtub, and the shower curtain was filthy. The bed sheets had suspicious stains on them (I really hope they were actually washed), and the pillow had what looked like a blood stain. The floor clearly hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped. Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

clean room, no ice, coke machine sells for 3.50 but takes 4.50 from your card. office says coke machine (two of them) are at your own risk. thee hotel has nothing to do with them and there is no phone number for a refund. they then said we don't make money from it so we don't give refunds for it and why would we have a phone number we don't make any money from those machines.

Parking was outstanding. Requested 2 beds got one, ice machine yielded a cup of ice (10 ounces) after three minutes, coke machine charges 350 for a soda and takes 450 from your bank card. When asked for a 3 dollar refund I was told that that they have nothing to do with the soda machine. There is no phone number to call if the machine overcharges you. You just lost the money she says. That's just a snapshot of the experience.

The "On the Go" breakfast offered between 6-9am consists of a single oatmeal packet and a mini muffin. I like the price of the rooms at motel 6. I think the costs should be cut in other areas in order to provide a better quality breakfast. The staff never leave out enough muffins or dont replenish the supply. The coffee is served without creamer. Breakfast is terrible.

I was explicitly told that the $60 was being held as a security deposit, but the payment record shows that they charged me for the deposit amount as well. This is a terrible hotel. Return the deposit immediately.

I don't have any likes besides the location the place need professional management and repair and room service that actually cleans There were roaches bathtube/ bathroom filthy sink clogged no pressure after checking in realized some one was just killed there in the office trust me you can do better I won't every go back they'll scam you for your deposit the front desk told me because I was black I should probably bring my on towels wow they say I was smoking in my room and took my deposit said room smell like weed sorry I don't smoke there drity and not a safe place at all this place is scandalous no in between

The location was accessible. This motel is absolutely filthy! There were dead bugs on the floor even after the room was cleaned, urine around the toilet. We took a wet towel to clean the floor and it came up black.

Only one person checking people in. Took over 30 minutes before it was my turn. Room had a missing TV remote and for two people there were only one set of towels. Neighbors were loud all night. The whole area had a strong "weed" smell. Only good thing was the Denny's nearby.
