The first room they put us in, on the 3rd floor, smelled terrible!! I took 5 steps in and turned to my husband and said No! I can’t stay in this room because there was a huge crack in the corner all the way from the ceiling to the floor that had black mold! Reported it to the front desk, he was more shocked, no apologies, but moved us to the room right next to it. The facing wall had the same crack, but didn’t see any mold. Because it was so late at night, we stayed. We looked around the area for a different hotel, but because it was a larger lacrosse tournament, there wasn’t any other hotels available. The tub did not drain. The floors were spongy. Breakfast was mediocre and you were not allowed to bring any food to your room. One luggage cart, with duct tape holding it together. Beds were uncomfortable. The top comforters were stained. The fitted sheets kept coming off the mattress. The floors were not swept. We wore our shoes the entire time in the room. The window did not shut all of the way. The door latch was broke. At night, you can see daylight all of the way around the door frame. You are not allowed to fill your cooler with ice. The hotel is extremely outdated. And in our opinion, should be condemned! Will keep an eye on our incidental charge, as it sounds like others were having issues of it being refunded. Repeat, DO NOT STAY HERE! Room 306 was full of mold!

If you have any other choice, don’t go here. Traffic from freeway incredibly loud. Breakfast options slim to nothing. Grounds badly maintained.

Room was dirty and smelled like wet dog

At check in, sign on counter said be back in 10 minutes…just not 10 minutes from when. When individual finally showed up, he was very dismissive and evasive. Biggest thing he wanted to reiterate was there would be a $50 charge added for incidentals in the event there would be any. Asked me 4 or 5 times if I had a pet, informed me 3 times No Smoking. On the way to my room, I was overwhelmed by the stench of marijuana…perhaps it was a “smoking room”? I’m only in town for two days business, can’t be that bad…right?? WRONG! Enter room, musty very humid feeling. Look at A/C and it’s at 71 so should get better, right??? WRONG! Walked across the wooden floors to hang up clothing. Had to clean the metal rack before hanging clothes. Walked back to tv area when I realized my socks were “sticking” to the floor. They weren’t necessarily dirty it did not appear, however must only get swept or perhaps they use Karo syrup to mop. Got tv remote, it too was very sticky.

Do not stay here! If you stay more than one night- the room keys only work for 24 hours at a time, so you will have to go to the desk and ask for your key to work again after 24 hours. They don’t tell you this, you figure out after getting to your room late at night on the 2nd night. The business center is just a computer with internet, no printer (I really needed to print something for my trip). The breakfast is just a waffle maker, toaster with bread, cereal, milk, butter, and that’s it. You can’t take any of the breakfast items to your room, including the 6 oz paper cup of coffee. There is only one elevator for the 3 floors and access to it is limited at night at a certain point. There is absolutely no smoking anywhere on property but some guests were smoking and made the entire 3rd floor smell like pot. They do not service the rooms during the day if you stay multiple days, so if you need a new small/thin towel, you have to bring your used/wet towel to the front desk to get a new/dry towel. My outlet near the bathroom mirror did not work. The outlet for the tv and fridge kept shutting off. The air conditioner is set to 78 degrees unless you manually program it to turn on at a designated temp for a designated amount of time. They put a hold on your card of $150 for incidentals. You will get charged if you don’t return the room key and it’s very worn paper sleeve at check out. This hotel is run by a 3 person family. The Dad is the easiest and most polite to deal with.

I stayed there on my way to Minneapolis and I couldn’t have been happier any other place. Exceptionally clean and I plan on king that my stop in the way back home.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly. We checked in about 9pm but we were not told we would have brown water and no hot water. We couldn't take a shower. Next morning it was better. The refrigerator wasn't cold enough. The breakfast was mainly cereal, waffle, little muffins, apple and sliced bread with butter. Wish they would have bagels with cream cheese. Other than that it was okay.
