Room was cozy and super clean.

Location Poor communication by staff and crossed family boundaries; cleanliness of room (floors were very dirty and bathroom smelled like dirty rags; hot tub jets in operable; dirty silverware; no extra garbage bags; filtered water jug not kept replaced after 4pm - owner leaves at 4pm and so much more...

Loved the location in a quiet residential area away from the crowds. Definitely the most pet friendly place we have stayed without having to give up the luxuries you often do for a pet friendly stay. The dogs are even pampered with bowls, towels and treats! Perfect area to walk them along the canal across the street from the inn. Within walking distance to the main street and great restaurants. Definitely will be returning now that we have found this gem!

Lovely quiet location! Very pet friendly
-
Close to main points in town including the beach and boardwalk (20 min walk, 5 min drive), nice scenery. Dog friendly Hair on the bathroom floor and shower when first got there, pictures did not match the room I got

NOT FOR EVERYBODY KIND OF PLACE IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. CHEAPER ISNT ALWAYS BETTER. SHOWER HEADS AND DRAINS DONT COST MUCH TO REPLACE. THROW AWAY BROWN NASTY TOWELS. CALL A REPAIR MAN FOR YOUR WATER PRESSURE. NO STAFF ON SITE EVER TO COMPLAIN. NONE

The property was in an excellent location, and the contactless check in was very convenient. The room was exceptionally clean, and the cost was very reasonable.

Close to downtown - the main section where many shops and restaurants are located (Rehoboth Ave). Very clean and staff very pleasant. Wished there was a tub, but they are rare these days. LOVED the french doors that opened to the balcony with the tall Adirondack style beach chairs.

I really liked the location and the comfort of this hotel and how pet friendly it is. It’s located right across from a small park area which is perfect when you have dogs. It was also nice to find some pet supplies when I arrived to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Staff was really nice and accommodating. Free parking. There isn’t really anything that I did not like about the property, but I would recommend that they would perhaps place a doormat or rug on the inside of the room so that you can try to dry your shoes from all the rain recently for example.

Everything exceeded my expectations! Clean room and comfortable bed. Adorable touches that gave the room and inn a seaside feel. It is dog friendly and I really appreciated that! My pup loved the five star treatment! I would highly recommend this inn and would definitely choose this place again for all my future visits. The location is also great. Near beach and great restaurants. There is a small park directly across the quiet street from the inn that is perfect for walking pup in morning.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Canal side Inn. So did my furry companion Frankie, who was well greeted by the owners and other pets alike. Guests were equally friendly, those with 2 feet. The room was lovely for a single traveler and dog. It was especially nice being in a residential neighborhood with the canal right outside the doorstep, lovely scenery, easy walking distance to Rehoboth Beach Perfect four-day vacation to clear the mind with easy access to all that you would want in Rehobeth.

Cute place to stay, in a nice locstion
-
Only downside was that room had hard floors with no rugs so sound really traveled. I could hear every coming and going in the hallway.

I liked everything about the hotel and location!

I had just completed cancer treatment and was traveling for my birthday with a long-time friend. Who has early onset Alzheimer’s and my dog. We stayed here because it sounded perfect to keep an eye on my friend while giving him his space without distractions or having to have my dog on top of him as well as allow us to dine in since crowded spaces can be problematic for him. When we arrived our room was a double room with 2 queen beds, a microwave mounted below a counter and a small fridge – NONE OF WHAT WE EXPECTED. After contacting management, I was told that they don’t have a “Family Suite” (listed on their webpage) but that it’s called a “Beach Suite” and that’s not what we booked….. He went to the matt with me that I booked a double room. When I informed him, I was looking at my receipt and I indeed booked the “Family Suite” he told me Expedia sent him the wrong reservation and that Expedia sent a reservation for a double room. I insisted I was looking at the receipt on Expedia and it definitely stated they/I booked the suite. He went on to tell me there was NO SUITE”. I told him I was looking at the pictures on their listing and described the suite to him he told me he would have to look into it and get back to me, asking me to “hang tight” this was at 1:09pm the
