Don Pedro Hotel

It was clean , spacious room with magnificent view. The AC worked great and bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice. Even lent us a charger for phone.

Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was included and delicious . Optional dinners were tasty and a great value. We also enjoyed the thermal pool and the great view . Pillows were a little flat for my liking , but that is only a personal preference.

Good, typical Italian breakfast with lots of options and plentiful. Exceptional, friendly staff. Loved the retro/vintage vibe, thermal pool and fabulous views. Family run and you can tell they really care about the hotel and guesst experience. Very firm beds which may not suit everyone. The coffee at breakfast is from an automatic all-in-one machine and mediocre at best. You can ask for a proper italian coffee or capuccino from the machine in the kitchen at extra cost.

The view from the room is stunning. The hotel is clean and beds is comfortable. No noise as it is situated on up of the hill. Stuff is helpful and nice Breakfast was great but it can be improved either way local food for example sfogliatelle etc. it would be good to have WiFi in the room as you can use WiFi only on the terrace.

We loved our stay here, rooms were clean and location great although it was a bit of a climb back to hotel from the port. However, there was a very convenient hourly shuttle service to and from port to the hotel. No wifi in room, but could access in the common areas.

The hotel is beautiful! I love the decor of the place, it's very stylish and glamourous. Staff were wonderful and helpful. The pool was incredible - the nicest thermal pool I found in Ischia. I will definitely return here again. The coffee was not great from the coffee machine. As others have said, it's a short-ish walk from the ferry port, ending with a very steep ascent to the hotel. I would definitely go back here in future, but these steps could mean it's not be suitable for people who struggle with stairs/energy. The plus side of the hotel's steep location is the view from the pool is fantastic!

Super nice hotel staff, helpful and always smiling. Our view from the room was amazing. The room itself was nice and cosy. The location is. The dinner was tasteful but the portions were really small for the price.

Hotel Don Pedro is a family owned business with 40yrs and the family is always present to offer their support. Besides Italian they also speak English and German so there is no problem with communication. They offer a free shuttle service to the ferry port. They serve a breakfast buffet and dinner menue. We tried dinner menue once. It was very tasty. Dinner has to be booked in the morning, to have more flexibility we ate out the other nights. The hotel is located on a small hill directly overlooking the port and the main roundabout. From our room we had stunning views over Proceida, Castle Aragonese and lots of the tyrrhenian sea. The main bus station can be reached within 10 minutes by foot. Well we had the best view, but italian traffic is somewhat! The SP270 is always busy and noise from motorcycles, car, ambulances was really bad. Sometimes drivers use Via Quercia as a bypass when SP270 is crowded. Pedestrian footwalks are hard to find on Ischia island. So walking along Via Quercia with vehicles passing you at high speed was no fun. Besides the noise pollution from the ferries and cars is really bad. Porto is the busiest part of the island. Sometimes we woke up in the morning smelling the exhaust from the old ferries starting their engines in the morning. This is nothing the hotel can do anything about, but should be talken into consideration when looking for a place to stay. Sant'Angelo has banned cars and was a total difference.

Everything was very good. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and willing to help you with anything you needed. The hotel was very clean and had an amazing view! The hotel is very easy to reach from Ischia Porto or you might want to take advantage of the free shuttle that they offer. I will definitely be back! N/a

Amazing location. The views from my balcony, from the terrace of the restaurant, and from the swimming pool are breathtaking. Absolutely lovely and caring staff. Good breakfast. Clean room. Very comfy bad.
